I just downloaded dx9 (from download.com) and was wondering what I have to do to get GW to run off of it. I need it to show the effects of texmod.

If you need me to elaborate or need other information, please say so, I'm not terribly tech-savvy.

If you have any relatively modern iteration of Windows installed and are able to run Guild Wars, you already have DirectX 9. Were you having issues getting TexMod to work, or something? If so, give us the details of that.

Firstly, you need a graphics card that's capable of rendering under DirectX9!
