Friend's name banned after 31 months

After having the name "Heart Boobies" for 31 months my friend just got banned for 72 hours for having the name and obviously now will have to rename a character with a completely unoffensive name that he's had for nearly 3 years.

That's messed up.

I can understand some things, like a character of mine "Neato The Hooker" was apparently offensive - how is beyond me. But "Heart Boobies"...? lol wtf I think that's going just a little too far with the censorship.

It offended someone. It only takes one.

You murder somebody 3 years ago and get caught, you are still going to jail for the same amount of time as if your killed the guy yesterday.

Time elapsed doesn't make an offense any less. The name is immature and can be construed as offensive. If you have to pause to wonder "is this name offensive/bannable?" then it probablly shouldn't be used.

^ ^ IT only takes one person to type /report...he can try to contact support but more than likely they will not change the outcome, sucks after so long, but nothing we can do for him here.

Well he'll more than likely only have to change the name. Now if he'd lost all the hours and time he'd put into that char for 31 months, then I'd be pissed. He should have known better than to make such a name that would definately get him banned...I'm surprised it went unnoticed for so long.

Yeah to be honest its one of those names that sits in the middle.

However at the end of the day when creating such a name, you do so knowing full well that it might upset/annoy others. Its not as if you took a RP name that just happens to insult someones mother in German.

Maybe OP's friend was an Ornithologist?

In your profile you claim to be 30 years of age. So I am at a loss to understand why you do not understand why a name with boobies in it wouldn’t be allowed to remain once noticed.
