Vanquishing Benifits

Well you spend all this time vanquishing an area you should certainly get a better reward than a couple plat that you could get ten times faster farming. So why not after you vanguish an area in HM you get a bonus in NM whenever you enter?

I didn't mean a gold bonus, just like +def or +1 helf regen, stuff like that.

you just proved you can beat every area in the campaign in hardmode.

If you beat an area in HM, wouldn't you have no problems doing NM? That's like playing Madden '08 and saying "Dang, I just beat every team on All-Madden difficulty, so, I should have superhuman robots on my team when I go back and play Rookie difficulty".
Also, the whole HM and Vanquishing idea was a bad idea, I hope it doesn't return for GW2 (aka World Of Charrcraft).

I think a good idea would be that if you vanquish an area in hard mode, enemies in that area will no longer aggro on you unless you attack them first. As a way to avoid exploits, this would only apply if your entire team has completed the zone in HM, but henchmen and heroes would count as having the same status as you...

Of all things, liste so far. I think the best would be to make all creatures that won't give you any XP neutral to you.
That is, level 14 or less.
Everything else is just a bit too much.

as for the topic, I'll sign anything for a better reward for vanquishing, but why normal mode? If I can do HM, I don't need NM anymore.

A better idea. its hard as heck to get people who have already vanquished an area to do it again sometimes, largely because they have no reason to other than to help. it would be easier if they received bonus %chance for rare drop when entering areas that already have the gold helmet for them. Not taking away from party drops, adding to theirs. Less whites, more gold identifications, etc. maybe even improving their %chance to retain lockpicks.
Dungeons and areas that can't be vanquished would be excluded, of course.

I like the idea - how about - if you Vanquish it and are in a party that has vanquished it you get to choose to enter the area with 1/3 the spawns and 1/2 the number of chests.
It really irritates me to vanquish an area and not be able to safely take the wife and kids out for a pic-nic. Ya know. I have killed that damned devourer outside Ascalon so many Friggin timesm and still can't get Orkin to show up. How are supposed to enjoy a good Charr-broiled roast sandwich with that thing always in the way? I swear...
