Which to choose?

Hi, i am currently in the market in buying a new bow for my ranger. and the two skin i am looking at are the tormented recurve bow and the silverwing recurve bow.yes looking for recurve bow only. but i only have enough funding for one or the other. having a hard time deciding which one to get. and if u wondering why these two particular bow , cuz of the looks.

so let say u have the money to get the tormented recurve bow would u get it or use the funding from that to purchase a high req (11-12) silverwing bow(why high req cuz a low one cost more than a tormented recurve bow/armbrace) instead.

Personally I can't stand either skin, but I suppose the Silverwing is marginally better. If this is for PvP, you definitely want one with a lower requirement though. Most recurve-using ranger PvP builds that are worth using run 14 Expertise, usually making Marksmanship ~10.

Silverwing is so much better... oh how I want one...

Personally, I like the Silverwing skin better than the Tormented...
And I'd never have a high Marks. req bow, I rarely run more than 10.

stat-wise, tormented bc its always r9, but i like the silverwing skin better. imo, go with whichevers cheaper :P

Silverwing may look better (Although Tormented is pretty awesome looking), but like the others said, a ranger typically has 10 marksmanship in effective PvP builds. I'd say farm some more to get that lower req Silverwing or just buy the Tormented bow.

wow, seems like everyone inculding myself like the silverwing bow over tormented one, i dont blame u, actually the silverwing bow is one of my most favorite skin second only next to the good old storm bow. yea, i think i might end up purchasing the tormented bow. cuz like some of u mentioned the low req is better for pvp, so overall i think the tormented is more versatile than a high req silverwing. and who know i might actually have a silverwing drop in one of my dugeon trip. beside i have spent a week looking for req 12 in game and in the forum too but with no reply. and as for farming the extra 50+ ecto to purchase an lower req one, i think i rather use that money to get another nice wep for my other char or armor, since money dont come to me easily cuz i am not too big on farming, gets to boring for me.

i guess i follow up on this, if anyone of u who have posted what my finally decision was. i got the high req 12 silverwing bow instead, just looks too good to me. as for high req, luck for me most of my build that i use for pve and pvp usally have 12 markminship might not be the best build but it works for me

Too bad the Silverwing is only available (asfaik) as a recurve.
