Hey, I'm having a bit of trouble on this hunt for the mini pet black moa chick. I got the quest after defeating Zho in the Norn Championship and I've got all the materials needed for the Incubation Kit.

However, to get the kit I have to go to Gyala Hatchery which is in Luxon territory. But since i'm a Kurzick, they dont really like me.

To get into the Hatchery, would I have to change my faction to be able to complete the hunt?

I'd be very grateful if someone could guide me through it.

You can enter and do the missions / quests for both factions in Cantha irrespective of which you belong to, and don't need to change factions. Faction only influences which NPCs will provide services to you, not storyline progression.

You will need to do the Gyala Hatchery mission in order to progress with the mini moa though - follow the Luxon branch of the storyline after Sunjiang District. You can only enter Gyala Hatchery explorable - where the NPC you need to talk to is located - from Leviathan Pits, which is locked until Gyala Hatchery mission is successfully completed.

You don't have to leave your guild for that, you'll just have to stop ABing until after you've earned the 10k luxon points you need to access Gyala.

Yeah, just cash in whatever kurzick faction you have, grind the 10k luxon faction through quests and carry on from there. No need to leave guild or anything.
