I got Legendary Skill Hunter on my monk about 45 mins before favor system was changed. After that I've only maxed Delver on my ele, so 0 mins here.
Why is it that reputation titles doesn't count btw? Max title is max title and there's no Legendary Friend of Them All, like there is collective max title for prot/guard, vq and carto.

i haven't maxed any titles since then. most of the ones i have to do are grindfests, and i'm reluctant to spend any amount of time on other charcters other than my main gaining titles.
I have Vanqisher on cantha and tyria to complete, Guardian on Tyria and Cantha, Wisdom, and Treasure huter, Alehound, Sweet tooth, Reputation for Norn, Dwarves, Ebon and Asura to max as well as Lightbringer, And most of the Dungeons to do in Hard Mode, on my main charcter, and when i have them done i will think about going onto the other charactrs with easier titles.
Oh and I'm also tryign to get Kurzick and Luxon. Somehow I don;t see me contributing to time and time soon

It makes me said that most the poeple on guru are exactly what i expect, people who whine mor ethan play the game. Most titles are not grinds. Play a Grind mmo like wow or everquest, then you will learn what a grind is.
PS: Vanquisher is not a grind title, even is it seems long, it different zones with differend mobs/bosses that require different strats, whoever is convinced of that is retarded.

Favor should have remained tied to HA. In it's present form there is no reason to HA other than fame farming.

I never meant that the favor system was necessarily working most effectively pre-change. Simply that with the change character was lost. It was more appealing imho to be doing your thing in PvE and every once and a while having some other gaming dynamic going on whereby there was an announcement of the effects of some PvP play on the environment. I always thought that was pretty neat, even though I was never playing HoH - just seeing it as a side effect on the game through favor of the gods was good.
Makes quite a lot less sense to tie favor to titles. Favor of the gods for titles? I really dont care to get an announcement for Joe Schmo achieving said title. Holds even less interest to me than who had favor or which way favor was going. It actually was fun to see the tides of favor shifting while putting together a FoW team and waiting, seeing a PvP tam you knew take a win and you could assume they'd gain favor for you soon as they had done so in the past etc. That was actually quite fun. With the new system, its not like you desire to assemble a FoW team, so tell a bunch of people to run out an max a title. It just has no character - was all I was saying.

Wrong, heres an example: Two European teams versus one American team...the two European teams usually gank the American team to keep favor.
All HA is NOW is fame farming and HoH farming...although i see alot of sucky drops in it these days from obs
