The title says it all.
A white, req. 8 weapon dropped for me in Moddok Crevice.
Is it valuable or just merch. it?
Thanks.
Is a weapon valuable if it's req. 8 even though it's white?

You also need to keep in mind what the inherent bonus is, or if it has an inscription slot. If it has an inherent mod of, say, +12% ^ 50, then it may not be attractive to those that want "perfect" weapons only...

I Phoenix I
White weapons = worthless. No inscription slot nor inherent bonus ever.

yeap Merch food, ni inscription slot no value, you'll notice the merch wont give you much of anything either. as was already said, a req8 blue with inscription slot can get you a bit more, but that relies heavily on the skin.

Yea, anything white at all is merch food, blues can still be worth something though.

If it's for a prof you might one day create in Factions or NF (where your chars get immediate access to storage), you might want to save it - never hurts to have a max wep you can use just a skoosh sooner when you're leveling up. I have a little max white req 7 Short Sword that I keep around for my W toons to use.
