Im sure A-net are still haveing trouble with gold sales, I have an idea Why doesn't A-net sell credit points like 100k for 5bucks that could be used on merchans and crafting material? The catch will be anything you buy with the credit would be custom to you (custom ecto, iron, salvage kit, rice wine ect ect ect) Maybe even let the armor guys take credits. just am idea

Edit: Dont tell me its so hard to buy those materials.. takes like 1-5 mins to get them on kamadan on a fair price. Your suggestion is only about buying gwgold for real money tbh. I'm not closed minded, I feel more likely a normal person because I dont pay real money for gwgold (or materials, whatever).

this is just an idea for a net to make some extra cash durring down time to maybe help them from rushing on turing out games, And remeber no one said you have to buy the credits but it would be there if you needed for armor materials if needed. they could even make it so you can not buy anything from other players with them. 1) It takes less time to make the equivalent amount IRL than it does to farm the gold.
2) They should have taken note of this fact back when fully outfitted PvE characters were important in PvE, and there were a lot of expensive things in the market.

It doesn't matter if you use the gold for things you can use only in your characters. By getting gold you can use in some stuff, the gold you earn can be used for anything else. So it could be like any other gold-selling.

Most people are concerned about the absurd amount of time it takes, not the money. Last I checked, it actually requires you to do something (extremely repetitive) over and over again. Sure, it costs money, but it is the cost of time that makes it a bitch.

10,000 chests, 10,000 keys. that's 6 million gold if you buy 600g keys. Lockpicks may cost less because of repetitive use but it's still going to be up there.

and how would this stupify the game people are buying gold online anyway why not let a-net make some cash out of it? I sure the owners of this game got bills to pay between games, hell running servers aren't free Just saying there are a lot of people buying gold from china why not under cut the bots and gold salesmen and buy yourself a new vette a-net of maybe faster servers just trying to come up with ideas so the cam is still free to play and help them keep this game running for a long time
