List your favorite EOTN Rep skills
Jagged
Just curious what rep skills people like the best. The only one I would not include is Ursan Blessing since it is unique and is the subject of so many threads already. Since you only get to use three, what are they?
What I use:
Pain Inverter. AOE Boss killer.
Ebon Vanguard Assassin. Use this with Echo and the power of twin assassin's is incredible against most foes. I almost never take this off my bar.
"You Move Like a Dwarf!". Knock down and cripple. Perfect.
For Dungeons:
Light of Deldrimor. I'm not that impressed with its AOE damage, even against undead.
Breath of the Great Dwarf. For fire areas only.
One last question. On the Asura track. What is your favorite summon?

I don't use EotN Rep skills, unless I'm farming.
Why? Because most of my characters have skillbars that have been honed over months of play. Most, if not all of the skills, don't fit in. That and I can't be arsed to get the corresponding title to a point where the skills are worthwhile on every character (10 characters = No thank you).
However, when I do use Rep skills, I use Air of Superiority and Pain Inverter. For dungeons, I of course will bring Light of Deldrimor.

I love Ebon Vanguard Battle Standard of Courage. It's just awesome, like ward against elements but for everything.
Targuil
There's always space for pain inverter, "you move like a dwarf" and "finish him!" in my mind blast bar.
Squishy ftw
"I Am Unstoppable!", "You Move Like a Dwarf!" and Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support
CyberMesh0
Pain Inverter never leaves my bar anymore.

I am almost positive 90% of the users of this forum use the skill for its name alone.
Malak Revan
"Finish Him" and "You move like a Dwarf" have become permanent editions to my warrior's build, I don't even miss the two skills that they replaced. I also toss in Pain Inverter for the AoE bosses. Not a big fan of Light of Deldrimor or any of the other dwarf skills tho.
chowmein69
ursans blessing.
Sirius-NZ
Great Dwarf Armor most commonly, second most common is (durr) Ursan Blessing.
Because I can't be bothered taking on things like DoA the normal way.

Summon Mursaat, hand down.
Sergeant of Marines
Pain Inverter on the Jotun when they use Giant Stomp on your entire Group and with 10 minons never gets old to watch.
Wakka
Dwarven Stability For me I think, surprised no one's mentioned it thus far.

KD, cripple and damage. Perfect for classes that dont have any interupts to use. Plus it is a shout so you can use it midcast or when you are kd'd yourself.
Of course Pain Inverter as well.

Good stuff in this thread. I'll have to check out "Finish Him!" haven't given it a close look.
I thought the Mursaat would be the best Asura summon as well, but I took one to the starting areas and let it fight by itself. It really didn't impressive against level 5 foes. I'll have to try it with some of the others. But compared to something like Echoed Assassins that can stun lock a boss, it seems pretty weak.

I like the Ruby Djinn Asura summon ^^ Fun fun

I really like Drunken Master, the vanguard assassin summon is nice also.

I normally use either Pain Inverter or Ebon Vanguard Battle Standard of Courage this skill probably saved our party in frostmaw's burrow (the hm version) multiple times.
Turbobusa
Assassin's promise + ebon assassin = win

In fact one of the effects recharges all of your skills, very useful if you have a lot of slow recharging spells. It's just only useful when you have a lot of things dying, which isn't that often in normal PvE, but very common when farming.
Also, I don't use Pain Inverter much since I mainly play on my necromancer and so if I wanted to punish a foe for attacking, I'd just use Spoil Victor. More damage, and lasts longer.

Pain inverter fits in well with a curses based necro build, like an SS necro. Also, Spoil Victor doesn't trigger on non-targeted spells (like firestorm), and I believe it only triggers once on targeted AoE spells, while pain inverter triggers for each instance of damage done (so if someone casts an aoe spell into a bunch of minions, they'll probably die on the spot, with lines of 80's above their head).

Pain inverter isnt for unishing attackers (unless you have nothing better to do). It's for punishing AoE users in HM (and attackers that use AoE attacks like Giant somp, tripple chop, hundred blades, etc...). On the right targets it's a cast and forget spell that will kill the critter within it's duration. Not many spells that do that. Oh yeah and it does a number on most bosses.
I've been using Infection signet lots lately for the fun of BHA + Screaming shot + Infection + Epidemic.
I figure Dervs would love Mental Block from the asura line.

The 7 - 8 seconds (no, I am not going to grind to the higher ranks) that it lasts isn't worth it in my opinion. Much more effective to use something like [wiki]Desecrate Enchantments[/wiki] since elementalists have a large tendency to use enchantments, as well it even has a faster recharge and it's AoE.
tekDragon
My experience even at lower ranks (starting r5 I guess) is that pain inverter is almost always worth it. You underestimate the speed at which eles and other casters spam there AoE spells in HM (think char fire casters, flowstone elementals, ruby djinn, the list goes on). Pain inverter takes them from full to dead or almost dead extremely quick.
Either way there's nothing that keeps you from packing both spells.

The funniest place to use PI is on the Great Destroyer. It's like he's halfway down, PI ... cutscene
tekDragon
I never get tired of using it on Jotun Skullsmashers Gian stomp brings em to about 1/10th health and then they die on the next one or two hits.
It's also way faster to kill siege wurms by casting PI on them and letting them hit you rather than interrupting them... Well it's not always recommended but in some situations it works out well.

That's my "monk killa" build. Dual, triple, or quad monks no worries.
Those 3 are my fav rep point skills. But some of the PvE only skills go better with different professions.

Pain Inverter: yes definitely an AOE killer. I don't know many skills that can do 2400 damage in less than a second. Example: Shockwave boss using Shockwave (hits 3 times) + 10 minions + Pain Inverter == one dead Shockwave boss. Funny as hell to see. Pain Inverter works great on those Charr rangers as well.

Yes pain inverter is very cruel even at level 5 and that's only one book turned in. You could get to rank 8 very easily farming normal mode books. But nevermind that anyway. It only need to be on the target foe for the 1 second it cast it's most damaging skill and most of the time kaboom they are dead!
