Armor +4 vs Elemental or Armor +4

Right now my sword has armor +4 vs elemental and I also have a armor +4 hilt. Does the armor +4 hilt add 4 armor to all types of damage, and the vs elemental only work against that specefic damage?

What i'm trying to decide is should I add the armor +4 and overwrite the +4 vs elemental? or keep it the way it is?

Or even just go with +20 health pommel on the sword? Will that stack with my vigor runes on armor?
edit: found it will stack, which would you go with?

The +4 armor is superior to the +4 armor vs elemental damage. The former is +4 to all damage.

As to which one to use, the armor or the health, that's entirely up to you and what you want out of the sword.
