Possible Survivor and LDoA?
MrGuildBoi
If you get a friend to death-level a monster and then he leaves and you kill it for exp, do you think its possible to get LDoA and Survivor? It will just take much longer time

he won't rez if you are alive
evenfall
You can't because your friend won't be auto-ressed if you are alive and the only res in pre-sear is the res-signet.
MrGuildBoi
ah I forgot about that. /close :P

I was under the impression it was possible to get both titles if you leveled the monsters with your pet.

Can anybody confirm on Musei Karasu's post?

Death levelling via pets doesn't work. It's been said a thousand times that LDoA and Survivor are mutually exclusive. And if you disagree, well...look it up.

If you could glitch a monk tome into pre-sear (which has been done) you could get both titles with a friend who you're willing to sit and hard res as the monsters death level from him.

Or a second account using the method above.

According to some stuff that I've read in the past, monsters only earn xp from the first time the pet dies. I haven't taken the time to try that, though.

Hmmm - how much xp do the charr get for killing a level 20 character? Is it enough to get them to lvl 13 (what you would need to get xp on a 19 lvl character)? If that is so, you could bring res signet and a level 20 friend. Let the charr kill him, res him, go kill a charr boss to recharge the signet, rez him again etc. The charr would get xp for killing him 5 times plus if you both had a fairly high level pet they would get xp for killing them the first time for a total of seven deaths. Still, I doubt that would be anywhere near high enough for them to jump even one level, much less 5.

It can be done but it's an even longer and more tedious process than going for LDOA normally.
It requires two users: One who death-levels and one who leeches. The leecher uninstalls and reinstalls GW so as that he takes a while to load in to the Northlands( because the new data will have to download). To prolong that load, the leecher limits his bandwidth so it downloads extremely slowly. The death leveler gets some Charr up to a decent level then leaves, then the leecher ends the limit on his bandwidth and joins the map to find some high level charr to kill.
I don't think it's ever been done in practice but it's theoretically possible.

Been said, unfortunately it's not possible.
