My brother has the exact same campaigns as me (Proph + Factions) but he has an extra storage slot. He has 4 slots + materials but I only have 3 + materials. Does anybody know why this is?

Don't know why he has four. You should only have three with two campaigns.

Are you sure you have the same campaigns unlocked? The only way he can have 4 slots is by having 3 campaigns, see the guildwiki page for more info:

To the OP, have your brother login, go to edit account and then manage keys. If he doesn't have 3 campaigns listed there(Prophecies, Factions, NF) then he shouldn't have 4 tabs. He should only have 3 tabs and the materials tab. I would then select one of his characters, get in game and check if he is just pulling your leg.
