Gotta go with Palawa Joko, as well. I also cannot think of anything negative about him. Just a great, all-around villain, even if our characters don't currently think of him that way. That just shows his cunning; keep your friends close and your enemies closer, they say.
wu is me
any1 think shiro was a ripoff from macbeth?
Redfeather1975
I think lots of people like Palawa Joko.
He's actually the kind of bad guy you want to hang out with.
I bet he knows lots of drinking games.

lol I don't see why Palawa Joko is the antagonist of GW, I mean u actually helped him in NF. Though he's only a minor antagonist GW2.

For me it would have to be Hierophant Burntsoul, that Charr would sacrifice as many of his own as possible just to kill his opponents, that's really admirable

They should have Palawa Joko as an alternative to the ghostly hero.
Although I bet everyone would choose him for his awesomeness.

Palawa Joko, for this alone:
"You miserable hunks of desiccated flesh! I leave you alone for a few hundred years and you let everything go to hell! Now that I'm back, things are going to be different."
"No, No, No! Mummified flesh on the left! Dried bones on the right! No, your other right! You worthless bits of animated anatomy!"

Mallyx the Unyielding.
- Has a freaking huge house
- Has the most face-owning skills
- Whe you enter his domain, there's this huuuuuuge room, and all the white light shining, and there he sits on his throne... Then you come in, he goes oogabooga, rushes towards you and bashes you. With his bare knuckles. Epic.
His problem? He's an ape.

Friar Khan
Lich, basically for the same reasons everyone else has said:
- manipulative
- he looks cool (in an evil way)
I like how amusing Joko is. I haven't gotten to Abbadon yet (technical difficulties used to prevent my play of NF)
In factions, Shiro was a disappointment. I loved his homicidal portrayal in the trailer to Factions. The in-game cinematics portrayed him largely as compulsive (in killing the fortune teller), schizophrenic (in killing the emperor), and nefariously busy in the afterlife. Basically not enough time was spent showing him as evil and currupt to the point of betrayal; he was simply confused and manipulated. The way events played out during the game he never struck me as particularly threatening.

Old Man Of Ascalon
I always found Verata's story to be very intriguing. Not to mention he has some really cool Death skills named after him.
He's quite the noob in person however.

There also is the garlic giving necromancer from the Krytan wintersday quest who seems to enjoy killing random people for no reason with minions that are so overpowered any admin would ban her.
Now she's pure evil.

The Hunger
Pros
He likes eyes as a snack.
He puts them itty bitty humans in their place, and is sly in his words (i.e. "and then we will renegotiate" meaning "and then we'll eat you")
Cons
Stupid. Takes on a party of 8 with only a single monk as backup - idiot.
Needs braces for that underbite.

Rotscale says hi
The fact that I've wanted his bow since I heard about greens on my first ever character (ranger ofc) made me want to kill this baddie so bad. I remember the first time I killed him, with the help of some experienced friends, We finally managed after a long half our of persistent damage. I've kept his bow since then, and it's still my favorite in PvE. Never had a chance to beat him again until I finally got my monk up to speed to run the farm build for it. He's still my favorite boss. Besides, for the sake of the lore, he guards the crypt that held the staff the Lich was after, which is cool.
2nd runner-up has to be the Iron Man in the heart of Sorrow's Furnace, that guy was just badass.

I'd like to say the Lich - or at least, my very first vision of the Lich.
Quite a bit before I bought GW - and *way* before I started working at the LAN center I tried it out at - I was reading the manuscripts and saw that last awesome line: Some say the Undead hordes are led by a Lich of some power" or some such. In my mind I just imagined going way deep underground, facing massive hordes of undead, and seeing the Lich and going "oh shit".
Sadly, though, that was far from how the final fight went : ( So I'm gonna have tie it between Kanaxai and Urgoz. Both are pretty awesome concepts. I just really like how both of them are quite central to the corruption that both of the factions have had to go through. Kanaxai looks hella sweet, though.

I gotta disagree, you're missing the MAIN bad ass,
Abaddon
Qualities:
- He's a god
- Has a mass army of demons at his disposal
- If it wasn't for him, Shiro, Varesh nor the Lich would be the way they are
- Has a kool face, I mean who doesnt want 8 eyes?
- Owns an entire realm
- Best Dancer Ever
His Problems:
- He trys to take over wait no... have his realm "eat" tyria
- He hacks
- He's purple
- One of his minions is harder to kill, pretty weak for a god
- He gets replaced by a paragon <---- The Ultimate Shame

Mallyx:
Qualities:
- he disorientates people, especially first timers
- so he likes to toss your body around, because you're just a little toy for him to play with
His problems:
- most of the time he has a bad temper
- he likes playing sadistic games, probably out of frustration which brings me to the next point:
- he's still looking for a female gorilla to mate.

- He speaks with a cool accent.

His problem:
- He thinks he is the bad guy, but he is actually just a very smart puppet like Shiro.
- He waited to long to send Rurik against us, so we have to wait too much to get Hundred Swords in Prophecies.

While the story isn't that big about Rotscale, killing him especially after he was initially added was a total nightmare.

The Mursaat and my favorite protagonists are the Seers. Both are just so mysterious and I'd like to know more about them and where they come from.
