What would you recommend for a Mo Hero in those insanely heavy fire places that GW seems to enjoy using so much.

Obviously extinguish, maybe a Mo/Me with mantra of flame and ward against harm/elements?

Mantras and Wards won't prevent damage from burning, which is dengeneration, not damage. Extinguish has such a long recharge that it's really not that useful in most cases. A lot of the time it's better to bring healing and power through the burns rather than try to relieve them.

That explains the problems I was having. So just a basic healer build should work for fire? Maybe a Prot Mo with remove conditions?

Breath of the Great Dwarf works great, but it's tied to your Deldrimor title.

See also skills against elemental damage:

You can also find some inspiration in the PvX fire builds looking at the "counter" section (but they're more related to blocking the build rather than "extinguishing"):

EDIT: the other Dwarf skill Extinguish works too. Plus [skill]Frigid Armor[/skill] is good for your protection if you're an Ele.

Maybe a Mo/P with Cautery Signet but that uses your Elite slot and you can carry Remedy Signet to remove the burning from yourself after using Cautery Signet. You could use Martyr too but that transfers all conditions to you instead of removing them.

EDIT: As Fril said, Breath of the Great Dwarf is good too if you have EOTN.

http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:Mo...ste_LoD_Healer would probably work well. I'd trade out healing touch for something else, as heroes are stupid with touch skills. Probably trade cure hex for something else, too.

A prot monk with [wiki]restore condition[/wiki] might work, as well - just make sure not to overload him with high energy cost prot skills so that he can actually cast RC.

Thats for me to know... and for you.../stab

Martyr is your best bet, only cost 5e, and recharge of 10 secs. And the burning dosnt stack on you. Your eliminating (not just the burning) but all conditions from your allies. Use in conjunction with purge conditions and at least one other condition remover for yourself.
If you have extinguish and breath of the great dwarf from gwen, intense burning problem areas become a breeze.

Obviously extinguish, maybe a Mo/Me with mantra of flame and ward against harm/elements? I wouldn't take Mo heroes unless you're pugging with one other person, the henchies can do the job. If you insist on taking a Monk, [skill=text]Martyr[/skill] is the obvious choice. [skill=text]Light of Deliverance[/skill] would be good if heroes used it properly. [skill=text]Restore Condition[/skill] will drain a hero monk's energy.

Spread the damage mitigation around -

If you've got an MM, use [skill=text]Draw Conditions[/skill] and [skill=text]Infuse Condition[/skill]. If running a Curses Nec, try [skill=text]Plague Sending[/skill] (won't work on destroyers).
If using a Paragon hero, [skill=text]Cautery Signet[/skill] and [skill=text]Remedy Signet[/skill], or [skill=text]Song of Purification[/skill], maybe [skill=text]Purifying Finale[/skill].
If taking Ele's, [skill=text]Ward Against Harm[/skill], [skill=text]Ward Against Elements[/skill]. A Mind Blast + Rodgort's Invocation hero can easily handle [skill=text]Extinguish[/skill], [skill=text]Aegis[/skill], and maybe [skill=text]Protective Spirit[/skill] or [skill=text]Spirit Bond[/skill].
If using a Ranger hero, take [skill=text]Winter[/skill] on a [skill=text]Broad Head Arrow[/skill] interrupt build.
If you have a Rit or N/Rt take [skill=text]Weapon of Remedy[/skill],
Pure Was Li Ming, [skill=text]Mend Body and Soul[/skill].

Other than Sacnoth Valley in GW:EN and maybe a few Ruby Djinn mobs in Nightfall, fire's not that much of a problem. Also, don't forget about interrupts - if they can't pull off a fire spell, you can't get hurt!
