Canthan New year 2008

Just have a question about the Chinees Calender what is the new Animal/Creature of this years Festivities.
Last Year was like year of the Pig.
Realy liked what they did last year.

Gaile has stated she is uncertain that Canthan New Years will be celebrated this year (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Gaile/Frog_Talk/20080101).

If it is celebrated, the creature predominant in the event will likely be a rat. (The Zodiac sign for the upcoming lunar year is the rat.)

they might not celebrate it this year? why, and i'd like to have a mini rat.

ANet would have to change quite a bit of the scope of things.

Remember, last year was about making a feast for the Celestial Pig.

If the animal is different this year, and it's not a T-Rex (which, as far as I know, does not exist in Asian zodiac), we can't do the whole cooking quest thing.

And so the whining begins......even before anyone knows what's going to happen.
