Can someone tell me what he does with his dervish heroes, I am trying to equip (or at least, find a way to use) all of them.
Not playing a dervish myself, I tryed some kinds of builds with them and mine somehow alway wind up useless/weaker than the other ones.
I am not asking for finished builds, more for key skills ideas and general uses for them.

Too selfish of a class for me...

But a ritualist casting splinter weapon on them works pretty well.

I used a setup like this for a while:

[card]Avatar Of Lyssa[/card][card]Heart Of Fury[/card][card]Heart Of Holy Flame[/card][card]Mystic Sweep[/card][card]Eremite's Attack[/card][card]Mystic Regeneration[/card][card]Death Pact Signet[/card]
X2

[card]Tainted Flesh[/card][card]Rotting Flesh[/card][card]Rising Bile[/card][card]Splinter Weapon[/card][card]Ancestors' Rage[/card][card]Signet Of Lost Souls[/card][card]Death Pact Signet[/card]

quite fun to play around with, the spike damage from the dervishes was pretty impressive especially when combined with AR and SW.

D/N Orders. It rocks in a physical heavy team. Haven't found any other worthwhile PvE Dervish hero builds.

I dislike melee heroes, they always find a way to screw up. I use my dervish as a D/N orders, nothing else.

I myself am a Ranger and I like to switch targets often to interrupt stuff or spread blind or whatever, and I find my melee heroes like to scuttle all the way across the map to try and attack the target I'm hitting, and then scuttle away again after I switch targets.

But anyway, I have this set up on my Melonni.

[skill]Avatar of Lyssa[/skill][skill]Heart of Fury[/skill][skill]Mystic Sweep[/skill][skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill][skill]Signet of Malice[/skill][skill]Wearying Strike[/skill][skill]Zealous Renewal[/skill][skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill]

If i get it right the derv hero is basically another assassin hero : near-useless.
But i guess the order team build (or part-of-the-team build) is a sure pick.

Use Ebon Dust Aura!

you might consider something out of the box with it such as a bow and volley or cyclone axe.

I started running Vow of Strength on my hero derv.s, all you need is VoStr, an ias, and a butt-load of enchantments. I don't know, but I just don't trust them to run an avatar right... This won't spike too much, but w/ a GftE para they'll do decent damage, and they just won't go down.

If I had any ebon mods, I would run Ebon Dust too, as Coloneh suggests.

I think if you set heroes to aggressive they will freely attack different targets other than ones you call out. Don't quote me on it, but I think it might work.

Supplying all of my Dervish heroes with an earth weapon is too much of a hassle, and I'd rather take other heroes, and just fill in the generic melee with a hench. Customized mid-line is more important than a customized melee IMO.
