hi i came up with this idea
the 'jump' between 1,000 and 10,000 is rather big imo
so why not make a non max one at 5,000min
for example
drunkard (1) - 1,000min
King of the Pub (2) - 5,000min
Incorrigible Ale-Hound (3) - 10,000min
sweet tooth (1) - 1,000 points
Yellow tooth (2) - 5,000 points ( i know it's not original, better ideas welcome)
Connoisseur of Confectionaries (3) - 10,000 points
new title for sweet tooth and drunkard at 5,000 (not maxed)

I like your idea. I agree that the step from 1,000 to 10,000 is rather steep. Love the King of the Pub title too lol. For the sweet tooth track I was thinking maybe something like "My Dentist Hates Me".

That's not bad, it'll make people have a sense of achievment when reaching 5,000. If applied retro-actively (people with 5,100 or so will get the title, and those with the current max will go from rank 2 to 3) it'd work well.
Although 'Yellow Tooth' doesn't really work, maybe Chocoholic?

I think your idea makes a lot of sense. Yes it would still take a while to get to 10,000 but it wouldn't seem nearly as long if there was a halfway mark. That's why I like the Lightbringer title variations, it's not 15,000 to 50,000 like Sunspear. /signed
Edit: They did do this with the Luxon/Kurzick titles, it used to be to get the first rank you'd have to transfer 250k faction, now it's just 100k, and you get a special skill for it.

Drunkard:

This can be easily done by linking the item skills to the title tiers, just like any other PvE skills, with green letters and all.

I gotta agree with this one, when i see how long away that FIRST title is for drunkard, i quit lol this might actually make more ppl want to go for the title and in turn buy more alchol...btw i like the r2 title as "Toothless"
