No Koss for me?

Well, titles says it all

I am an Tyrian-Born character, which travelled to Elona. I DID make sure I wiki'ed it, and they don't give any information on this issue.
I got the "Battle Preperations quest" completed, and I did get Tahlkora and Melonni, but Koss, still is greyed out. (Preventing me to select him)

I didn't notice it untill I needed him for the Chahbek Village Mission. I simply had a friend create a new character (in NF), and team with me (He obviously did have Koss), so I could still do the mission.

But, this hasn't fixed my problem, I still can't select Koss as a Hero to join my party...

Anyone has any solution to this problem? Did I forget some quest?

Ty in advance,

Grtz

Have you completed the Consulate Docks mission? Koss becomes unavailable for a while after that mission (the big lug gets captured), although you do get him back on the way to the Venta Cemetery mission

Ummm doesn't sound right at all. Koss is standing outside Kamadan with the others first time out. Are you sure you haven't carried on to do the Consulate Docks mission? After that you can't use him again until you do a quest to rescue him.

I recommend checking your quest log. If you don't have a quest referring to him, speak to Lonai in Sunspear Sanctuary. If you don't have Sunspear Sanctuary speak to Sunspear Modiki in Yohlon Haven. If you don't have Yohlon Haven then something is really screwed.

reading quest text is actually a good thing to do.

- makes the story more understandable other than go here to kill mob A to go to mission X, not undertstanding why you killed mob A
- you understand why you have something missing from you, or why you have something with you.

And they do show the scene of him getting captured at the end of the mission.
Then it comes your priority to get him back. Because he is that damn good. /TheGame

It's called reading the boxes that pop up instead of just automatically clicking through them!. It quite clearly states :-

Quote:
"Wait a minute. What happened to Koss?" "After the demons attacked, he retreated from the city. The last anyone saw him, he was holding off a horde Kournan guards to give Nerashi time to escape! You won't be able to adventure with Koss again unless we find him!"

Meh, I stopped reading text after quest #1,021,369,857,659, If you know what I mean

I usually do try to stay with the game, but after Tyria, Cantha, I simply can't be bothered anymore. (Cuz face it, 99% of the text is bs )

Well, given that it was a primary and you can't really do anything without it maybe you should at least glance over them?

In fact you have bullet points in your quests log that tells you what needs to be done. Not much glancing needs to be done.

I do understand not wanting to read the whole of all quests, I wouldn't do that either, but primaries are primary for a reason. Otherwise you end up right back here asking questions you would already know the answer to.

99% of the text is STORY, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT & SETTING. The rest is direction on what to do and mission objectives.

Unless you can't get beyond "Smash good!!" I you've done it so many times you don't want to read it you basically know what's going to happen/what you have to do.

If you've done the consulate docks mission already then you need to do: The Great Escape if you haven't done so already.
