Anyone have a Hero team build for DoA?
Cobalt
I have tried a couple Hero builds in DoA but nothing works; Sab's 3 necro won't work because you need to make kills and they are insta-killed by the first mob.
I have tried the standard warrior/ele/monk builds and so far have not even made a single kill, just get insta-wiped by first mobs.
Since you can't take henches thus are limited to just 4-man and the mob groups are 12 strong and as powerful in NM if not more than most others are in freaking HM. Perhaps it is not even possible to do it with heroes and is only doable with gimmick solo-dual builds.

Human teams ftw.

Best luck imo would be forming an ursanway group.

What is so lawlish about this? Is it that Sab's build never works without minions, and that is a self-evident truth?
BTW I actually want to learn the answer to this, I'm not insulting anyone with this reply

its the fact you think you can use 4ppl in doa. much less, 3 heros.
sabs builds are awesome, but like you said, you have to have enemies dead before the minions can be made, and those really supply energy for the party.

No offense, but thinking that you can do DoA with a non-gimmick 4man build is funny. Also, while Sab's build is worshiped on this forum, it isn't the OMFGWTFHAX that most people make it out to be. It is decent, maybe even slightly above average, but not godly enough to take into elite missions, let alone in a 4man team.
Edit: BTW, just click the box that says "Quote. It automatically quotes the message, and brings up a window to reply in.
Alternatively, note, ignore the HTML part, since it isn't html. HTML Code:
Blah di blah
will produce

Do you want to know why Sab's build doesn't work in DoA? BECAUSE IT WASN'T MADE FOR DoA.
You can't run a 4 man build in DoA without gimmick. It won't work. Washi
Sab's necros work pretty well in DOA... not on their own ofcourse lol. why would you solo it, don't you even have one friend in game to go 2 ppl 6 heroes?
Squishy ftw
Your problem is that you went into one of the hardest areas of the game with 4 men(no farming build).
Try again with 8(1 more human with heros). And I guess you could use sab's build. I've done veil/city with the healer n/rt before. System_Crush

Titans will whipe you, they are non fleshy(despite they look totally fleshy)
The originals are already strong but crumble into mobs that are especially painful to both casters and minions. Paragons and ranger heroes make for a good choice in DoA, a few burning inflicting skills and some ranger interrupts are likely the way to go. Combined with a healer and likely a curser too. Also anybody know if shadow army takes double damage form holy? If so triple monkway might work there... boogerboy72
i dont think they do, but i may be wrong, which is usually the case.
tonyh
Sorry to interrupt, but sab's is supposed to be 4 man only?!
why dont you just bring henchies which will make everything a lot better? onerabbit
you.. cant.. in ..DoA.. try readng more.

Work in progress (read, going on pure luck mostly):
http://img240.imageshack.us/img240/6785/wopdn5.jpg http://img240.imageshack.us/img240/7076/wop2lz4.jpg The disabled skill on Morgahn's bar is Spear Swipe if you can't make it out too well. At this stage it's just a lot of testing to find out what is killing me and trying to get around it. I used the same hero setup for 4 man vanquishes and building off of that. As you can tell the skill bars are a total mess right now. Spirit Shackles is my biggest problem at the moment. Then QZ (I keep failing to hit it with LB Gaze), every other hex, enemies attacking me (but I know how to fix this part), and pulling. I've managed to kill two groups in a single run, one time dropping a Ki (the monk). =DNC=Trucker

Or a guild party with organized players
Rac, I would love to get into organizing builds like this. I like how you actually think about builds and the game rather than using the 'load template' button all day BTW, when you are running adren paragon, how do you get around crap like blind/blocks/blurred vision, etc? Seems like you need some quick ass hex/cond removal and anti-block stuff Racthoh

Blind: Pull out a bow, call a target so everything else runs in ahead of me.
Blocks: Change targets, but call it so my H/H continue to attack it. Aegis is rare, as is Guardian. Block stances are not of a concern; I kill those enemies last when there is no threat of dying. Hexes: I'll bring Empathic Removal or Expel Hexes on a paragon hero if I'm expecting something I know will be a problem. NecroticChanter
ty Racthoh, ur paragon builds are reli good in DoA
