I think running earns the best money for people who can't merchant
4ppl payin 2k every 10 minutes for a run (this is kinda worst case)
makes great money I've had 50k an hour

From what I know it's Powertrading; buy less, sell high.

k, jokes aside.
I tried trading, mission running, farming (abit).
So far, i rank them as follows:
Trading > Mission Running > Farming
Trading wise, u need some start up funds, and a good knowledge of item prices. Negotiation skills helps alot too.
Mission running isn't too hard if you can mod up heros and do some of the harder mission which are more in demand. From my exp, jennur horde, nunda bay, raisu, hell precipice, gom are the more popular ones.
Farming: you either find a really good spot which no one knows, or just be contented to an overfarmed area which someone has shared.

Yeah, as of now, may I ask for some Good farming spots? It probably takes me 10 times longer to load screens than most fo you, so I can try missions a bit, but idk how long people will endure me... Anyway, I may try running droks if I ever get a faster pc, which doesn't sound like bad money, since I got the build and everything Keep the answers coming, there all great.
And Merchanting/Tradeing, doesn't sound bad, sounds liek alot of you make alot of money, but as of now, I'm not donig too good on that topic, I boguht a ammy of the mists for 8k, and now I can't even sell my exalted aegis(str) for 12k lol. So we'll see what happens
But everything sounds great, I love hearing all this advice, thanks so much.
P.S. Oh... How does Impieral Sanctum sound with teh A/D build? I mean I can't relaly do it masters, but I can do it for like 1k and get a nice number party.

I'm pretty sure those who pay for mission runs want masters.
Doubefoot
Yeah I was thinkin that way, and then I would need 3 heros to do it. I know a guy who can do Shiro in like 2 mins, but they never give there builds away :P

The fastest way is buying gold. 2nd fastest is scamming someone rich and dumb.
Seriously though, power trading is the best if you can stomach it. I would say farming > running missions though, running missions is only really worth it in the few months after a campaign is released when lots of nubs need help. ie you could get 4 people a run at 25k each pretty easily for gate of madness in the first 2 months, now people scream bloody murder if you charge more then 4k each.

Asking for examples of farming builds or techniques in a farming section is very retarded. Do it yourself.

Hope 'm not offending anyone, but I mean examples from you guys... I mean, your telling me to do like farming, or the best is missions, I did get an example on missions, but can someone please help me more with what kind of farming I should do.... I'm only asking for advice, I would really love if somone could just point me in a way for mobs. I did find a nice place, I remember noone knows about as of my knowledge. Working on a build, but hfff, is ok, but... well my pc takes like a minute to load in and out of there sometimes a bit longer since my pc is bad... so we'll see

For me, it's all about power trading. The most boring, yet effective way to make money in just about any mmorpg (I know gws isn't exactly the type but it is kind of a rpg).
I made about 100e in like 4-5 days just by buying low and selling high.

I don't power merch or anything like that, but when I need fast money 20 - 50k, I wurm farm in Sahlahja, do the 2 quests in HM with H/H group each run takes about 10 min or longer if you want to kill more stuff, hit the shrines for Margo blessings and SS blessing then sell all your drops after Id'ing them. In two hours you've raised both SS and Lightbringer quite a bit, and gotten 10k + per hour.
Doubefoot
Hmm, earlier I was doing some hm outside Bergen hot springs. It was actually not too bad, my pc loaded the screens rather fast, and I made like 15k in like 2 hours, and I was pausing inbtween. I may stay with that for now, since it seems like some nice money, and I can raise my wisdom title or sell 7 unids for 4k Keep the ideas coming, there all great!

the best way, no such thing, all depends on what u are good at.
fast and lazy way, power trade

Alright, just want to clear myself up on this one, what exactly do you power trade? Or you just buy anything on the market thats cheap, sell it high? If someone could give me a few examples of some good items, that'd be so great

Anything.
Rare Materials, Materials, Weapons, Mini-pets ... whatever you can think of.
Want us to provide you with a price list of everything?

You might wanna click the "trade forum" on the FIRST SIDE OF GUILDWARSGURU.COM and then click the link which sais "PRICE CHECK" which will take you to SEVERAL lists sorted CAMPAIGNLY for items.
Now if that is too hard for people to do, someone's gotta make a video.
There is a neat search function on Guru aswell, you might just wanna check it out. There's also a good search function in one's internet browser that is slightly harder to use as you might have to click 2 (!!!!) times before you can enter the letters/words you wish to search for.

i would suggest farming elite tomes in HM, most ppl would want them for skill hunter title track (hint: the most wanted ones are the elementalist and monk ones).
On the other hand, what is the claim that you can make 200k in one day again?

You need a lot of knowledge about the market to power trade, and you have to be in the mindset: "I don't want to play the game while making money, I just want money", but I agree its a good way to make $

Question seems to be directing at me, so i shall answer it
No proof to show you the 200k/day claim. I don't do screenshots when I trade
Trading depends a little bit of luck, alot of knowledge, skill and patience.
Luck because you might bump into a lazy seller who might sell his stuffs cheap so he can go back to farm/play. Luck because you might bump into someone who don't knows about price: got a rare drop while farming and just want to get rid of it.
Knowledge and skills needed are price knowledge, when to trade, how to trade, where to trade and what to trade. It does make a big difference with when and what you trade.
Finally it takes a lot of patiences, of course.
Comparing the time a farmer takes to farm up to 100k, a trader could, of course, earn nothing if he is bad/unlucky. But on a good day, he could earn as much as ... frankly speaking, there isn't a limit
Trading is part of the game. To many people, they spend more than 80% of their time in gw doing trades and buying stuffs to collect. Farming isn't any way more "playing the game" than trading imo.

Mini pets are usually an easy way to get started power trading. I started out that way, buying mini bone dragons first (could only afford it since I had no ecto so I bought for 100k back in the day). Resold for a few ecto here and there.
Now you just buy whatever people are selling cheap, mini kuunavangs, gwens, mallyxes. Some people get lucky and buy stuff like an undedicated oni for 50k.
It's all about the luck of who is lazy to sell items and if your quick enough/ happen to notice. Just like kobey says.

Wow, thoguht of closeing this, but I don't want too anymore, you guys still have some great ideas in you. I do like that monk farming, that Byzzra Wingmender dude, he seems to drop alot of golds, greens, and monk tomes. So I may go with him for a while.... Also, with 55 monking outside bergen ot springs the runs like take 8-12 mins and I usually get 1k + Thanks for all the answers, I may start saving up then try power trading, just to get a tase of it
goldenwolf
hmm i like destroyer cores farming with my warrior, uw clears ursanway or be obby tank..got a eternal blade so made like 500k in 2hrs XD lots of ectos if you solo bone pits with ur obby. 55 monk or SS again for duo UW. use my ranger for slavers exile dungeon, nice chest drops.
