Using tome to get non-nightfall skill

Can I use an elite necro tome to capture spiteful spirit? I believe it is necessary to have the prophecies campaign. Would it work if I did it whilst having a 14 day trial for prophecies attached to my nightfall account?

You can only capture Spitefull Spirit if it is unlocked on your account. So, if you dont have a toon with Spitefull Spirit, or, if you havent used faction to unlock the skill, you wont beable to use the tome to capture SS
The Meth
Also, if you got the trial for prophecies you would be unable to put the skill on your skill bar (but still have it in your skill list) after the trial ended.
