I'd say Voltaic Spears are pretty popular atm, Eternal Blades are a bit too expensive atm to be "in", I think.

If you want to conform... monk FoW dyed black, Chaos Gloves and the Bandana or Blindfold. Also need a Tormented shield and a chaos axe, all dyed purple.
I'm contradicting myself on posting this, because I couldn't care less about fashion... IRL, and game-wise. I don't want to follow what everyone does, so eternal blades and crystallines will have to wait till I get one... so I can sell them and make some profit to buy something that I LIKE.

Actually I'm saving up to get a perfect q9 inscribable magma shield. Well I already have the double the money I need, but I think they will go down, so I'll just wait. And was willing to buy a q9 not inscribable gothic dual axe (15^50), just because I've always wanted one of them and now the price went down enough imo. Will still wait a bit before getting this items, I still fell ok with the ones I own right now.

I'd agree that Voltaic spears are badass (friggin' HUGE) but the BMP weapons really kill any incentive for me to go out weapon hunting/farming anymore. Tengu Shield, oh baby!
