This is a PvE general build that I've been working on for a while.
[skill]Nightmare weapon[/skill][skill]wielder's strike[/skill][skill]bloodsong[/skill][skill]painful bond[/skill][skill]offering of spirit[/skill][skill]mend body and soul[/skill][skill]spirit transfer[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Channeling Magic 12+1+3
Restoration Magic 12+2
Spawning Power 3+1
Superior Channeling, Major Restoration, Minor Spawning, Superior Vigor, and Rune of Vitae all on survivor armor with a +60hp 20/20 HCT/HSR Channeling Staff(ie Ssyn's Staff)
With all that you should end up with 530 HP and 40 Energy, which wont be a problem with OoS on your skill bar.
With this build I'm rather flexible because I can easily keep myself healed and if need be I can even help support a stressed out monk or resto rit with the nice spike heal of Spirit Transfer. Bloodsong is usually the first thing I cast and then I cast Painful Bond in the middle of the mob so it will effect more targets just to make sure it gets the first one bloodsong goes after and then I cast Nightmare weapon and then wielder's strike and then I let myself just attack for three hits using up the duration of nightmare weapon and then I usually need to cast OoS right there and I repeat till everyone is dead, pausing from time to time to remove conditions from myself and to keep bloodsong up which usually isn't a problem with his long survival time and extra health from spawning power.
well, what do you guys think? is it a balanced PvE build?? am I using any skills incorrectly? btw, I usually take Sunspear Rebirth Signet but for some reason it came up as unknown skill so I put res sig up instead.
A build I've been working on for a while

English Warrior
Hm i would use Flesh of my Flesh or Death Pact over Res Sig
GD Defender
Splinter (for your melee allies) over Nightmare, Vampirism over Wielder's Strike, and I'd probably say drop Painful Bond because it doesn't really fit in a hybrid build.

i agree painful bond for only bloodsong is pointless. its to much e for not enough bang ^_^ id put in sumthing like wielders boon or sumthing. the health sac from offering wont hurt much so dont need to be close to spriit really and if u have ranger or sumthing with u who has a spirit stand next to his

I forgot to mention that I usually use this build when it's just me and heroes and henchies. so when I play with other real people I make a custom build to fit with the team I'm playing with
Mr Pink57
I would drop Spirit Transfer for Spirit Light also, I know Transfer is a great spike heal but its too conditional with one spirit, at least with Light you still get the heal off. Also I dont use bloodsong much anymore since vampirism came to me, its a self heal plus it heals itself its kind of a win win there if you ask me.

Improvavel
And add ancestors rage in there plz.

I agree with Pink. Vampirism instead of Bloodsong, Spirit Light instead of Transfer, Resilient Weapon over Nightmare, since you appear to like health, and unless you really like Painful Bond, drop it for Ancestor's Rage. Do you have Heroes that exploit lots of hexes and weapon spells?

If you're running Chan there's no excuse not to bring Splinter and AR; they are ridiculously strong skills. Drop BS and PB because they aren't really of much use in PvE and bring Spirit Rift and take a strong PvE-only skill or something. For healing, I'd say a wep warding and spirit light should suffice. Saying that, however, if you're planning to tackle a condition intensive area then by all means bring MB&S and a spirit.
spirit of defeat
why do you have a spawning +1 rune :S
It's better to have an extra 2en or 10hp if you only have 1 spirit
And it is impossible to have
chan +1+3
res +1+2
I also agree on everybody else there comment.

Needs splinter and AR. They're the two best rit spells in the game. Hell, they're also arguably the best source of AoE in the game.
Painful bond is crap unless you're running a pile of spirits. Running a pile of spirits is crap too, for that matter.
Wielder's strike is bad. All the channeling direct damage spells are bad, except essence strike and spirit rift.
MBS and spirit transfer are ok, but you should consider bringing some of the better restoration stuff, like weapon of warding. It's pretty rare that you'll need spirit transfer as an anti-spike in PvE anyway.
You don't need any major or superior runes with this build, the only important breakpoint, 5 attacks for splinter, happens at 14 spec. The only reason I can think of to bring a sup or a major on a channeling build is if you're using essence strike.
