Hello,
I was wondering if someone could tell me when your ascended/elite armor sets are on display in the HoM, if you need to have the entire set for it to be displayed. For example, I'm planning on getting the Primeval set, but will most likely skip the gloves and get a cheaper option, since I'm skipping that one piece will it not qualify?

Yes, you need the full set.

for the HoM to take your armor into display you need:

feet
leggings
chest
gloves.

the headger is not needed, but you need the other 4 parts to be able to put it, so if you skip the primeval gloves you wont be able to put it on the HoM.

Has anyone tried yet? I would laugh if the breastpiece is enough.

Because the dye of the breastpiece you are wearing affects the color of all the displayed armors.

It was really silly of ANet to make the hall work this way.

I have 15k druid's on my ranger, full set, but that's only because I got it back when Ettins were profitable, and I don't find it ugly or a waste of money.

My poor dervish, I'm dying to put his Primeval armor into the HoM, but I only got him the chestpiece and leggings - I don't need the gloves or shoes...
