I usually tend to go for 3 man trapping, and am currently using this build....
[skill]spike trap[/skill][skill]barbed trap[/skill][skill]dust trap[/skill][skill]flame trap[/skill][skill]trapper's speed[/skill][skill]whirling defense[/skill][skill]troll unguent[/skill][skill]resurrect[/skill]
Not many people bring spirits anymore due to a nerf in [skill]energizing wind[/skill]
Can you suggest a build which would be better for UW trapping or even suggest any changes to this one that will allow for even more damage or faster trap laying speed.
Expertise 12 + 2
Wilderness survival 12 + 1 + 1
HP - 585
Energy - 45
Thanks for any help

Go for a Superior Wilderness Survival Rune and you could probably get away with Superior Expertise, too, if you're not the puller. Swap Resurrect with Rebrith in case your teammates happen to die in the midst of a mob.
Some people like to [skill]echo[/skill] + [skill]dust trap[/skill] for heavier damage. In this case, bring Sunspear Resurrection Signet.

For 3 man? This'll work in 2+
Dust, barbed, flame, tripwire, serpents quickness, dwarven stability. If you're the puller throw in escape or whirling defense and some kinda self heal, if not whatever you want. As long as one or two have res and know how to run away if necessary.
