We all know Anet is franticly working on GW2. And have thus less time or no time to spend on GW updates, aside from the occasional skill balance.
But what small feature do you really miss in the game, that you would think Anet already would have implemented. For me:

Titles organised as the Questlog.

As there are 41 Title tracks, with the current system it fails to keep track of.
Everytime you rezone the titletrack is set back to default (which is annoying if you want to keep track of let's say cartography, or Gwen Rep. Tracks.)
Solution:

PVP Titles:
  • Hero
  • Champion
  • Gladiator
  • Hero Battle
Account Titles
  • Kurzick
  • Luxon
  • Lucky
  • Unlucky
  • Gamer
Max Titles
  • Max Title Track
  • Legendary Survivor
  • Legendary Protector of Ascelon
  • Legendary Guardian
  • Legendary Vanquisher
  • Legendary Cartographer
  • Legendary Skill hunter
Tyrian Titles
  • Protector
  • Guardian
  • Vanquisher
  • Cartography
  • Skill Hunter
Canthan Titles
  • Protector
  • Guardian
  • Vanquisher
  • Cartography
  • Skill Hunter
Elonian Titles
  • Protector
  • Guardian
  • Vanquisher
  • Cartography
  • Skill Hunter
  • Sunspear
  • Lightbringer
Eye of the North
  • Dwarfen
  • Norn
  • Asuran
  • Vanguard
  • Master of the North
Consumables
  • Drunkard
  • Sweet tooth

Now if you would Like to keep track of let's say your Cartography of Tyria it would look like this:

PvPtitles
Account Titles
Max Titles
Tyrian Titles
  • Protector
  • Guardian
  • Vanquisher
  • Cartography
  • Skill Hunter
Canthan Titles
Elonian Titles
Eye of the North
Consumables

Small Feature big gain .

Also perhaps Instant zoning.

Tyria
  • City
    • Ascelon
  • Outpost
  • Mission
Cantha
Elona
Eye of the North

Another would be 1 extra field in the friendslist for trades. You put somebody in friends list for trade. The guy doesn't show up for a couple of days. Then all of the sudden your with I don't know how many trade persons and new friends that you don't know which is which.

Improvements that other players gave in this thread:

Also, it would be cool to have ability to select person by his name, i.e. command like /select in whisper box. would be most helpfull in trading (normal "lookup" of person you want to trade with involves inviting him to party, not always option)

Ps: Yes we would like more Trading options, No that's not a small feature so don't even start on that subject as that would be reason to turn this thread in to a flame fest

To the OP: /signed.

My suggestions:
* option to sort skills not just by profession or attribute, but alphabetically by name.
* in hardmode, option to get a > arrow on the radar showing the direction to the nearest enemy in the zone. It could even be a "ping skill" like the one used when chasing the nornbear - I'd be willing to give up one skill slot to not have to jog all around the map looking for that last missed mob.
* different displays of minions for necros. E.g. if you have a flesh golem, 8 fiends, and one horror, you'd have "1, 8, 1" displayed as number of minions, instead of just a "10". Ideally color-coded, and clicking the number would select the closest minion of that type.

There is this neat feature in most of listbox controlls: pres letter and focus goes to next element starting with that letter.

Would be most helpfull when looking for skill.

One thing I was noticing while playing tonight is that there are a lot of skills that depend on the enemy being below 50% health, but there isn't a deinate way to see it. So there were a lot of cases when I'd use the skill when I thought the enemy was below 50% health and nothing would happen. I think a nice little change would be to put a little tick mark at the 50% point on the enemy health bar.

Oh, and also the obligatory post on my part about wanting a hair dresser.

Being able to store your armour in the HoM instead of just being able to display it. that would save some much needed storage space !

One small thing that is a daily irritation to me... is that pressing the Alt key to show NPC's or storage doesn't stop player names popping up when your mouse cursor is over them.

You press Alt to show NPC names... but it's hard to click on them. They dance around, because the names of people standing near them keep popping up whenever your pointer gets near.

Small thing - surely easy to fix? Don't popup player names when Alt is pressed. This would make a big difference to me, and would have no adverse impact that I can think of - you could still click players same as ever when you aren't pressing Alt (nobody presses the Alt key when clicking players anyway, the Ctrl key is used for that)

This is Sardelac material, but categorising titles would be a nice idea, I agree.

I wouldn't like being able to tele anywhere in the game by just looking at text. An example of why: I joined gaiaonline early when there were less than ten thousand users. There was a small map with two cities and a place in between. It expanded into three cities with four places in between. To go shopping and get to certain events, one had to go through the map. Now, [or, when I was still an active user two years ago] the map is nothing but pointless aesthetics that no one even sees since you can reach everything without looking at the map at all. I'm not sure if I put this in an easily understandable way, but I tried.

/signed - for sorting heroes by profession. I have made this suggestion in the Sardelec area too. I just cant think why they didn't do this to begin with.

/signed - for sorting titles - It would make it easier when switching between titles especially while jumping between areas in GWEN.

I've always wondered why your inventory panel doesn't open automatically when you open the Xunlai chest (like it does when you trade with another player). I'd be satisfied with that one small change.

We really have some nice small improvements here, Keep it up guys

I've added the ones I saw as a small but significant improvement to the game. Pls don't refrain from posting. All the improvements I've read are based on players experience with the game, rather then something that's not in gw but in other games. Let's keep it going in this direction.

If you only need money for the merchant, or any other npc you don't really need the inventory open.
