Sunspear skills requiring title

According to the wiki, Vampirism is a Sunspear hero skill that requires a Sunspear title to purchase, but it doesn't say what title. Are they meaning a max title when they say this? Or just any rank where you get to display a title, which is rank 3 on Sunspear iirc.

Reason I ask is because all my chars, including my 2 rits, have at least rank 6 (General) or 7 (Castellan), yet the hero skills trainers don't offer Vampirism when I talk to them.

I've read that there's some sort of bug regarding the trainers not always recognizing your rank when you try to buy skills and am wondering if this is the cause.

I've tried making sure I have the Sunspear title box checked when I talk to the trainers but that hasn't helped, which is why I'm wondering if Vampirism might require having Legendary rank to buy it.

The trainers do offer 2 other skills btw, but I don't think they're PvE only skills.

Vampirism is a Sunspear skill. You can get it form a hero skill trainer in the Nightfall campaign. You don't need a certain title per se, but most of the skills' effectiveness is based upon your Sunspear rank.

If your character was created in Nightfall, then you'll already have some rank in the Sunspear title line by virtue of doing the primary quests. If you bring a character over from another campaign, then you need to do a few missions to get some hero skill points to buy the Sunspear skills.

I know it sound confusing, but it's actually pretty easy...

You can get the sunspear skills after you reach rank 1. However, they are in their own category and not listed alongside skills of their professions.

Take a closer look at the list and go for "Show me the Sunspear skills" at the very top. It's easily missed as the eye instinctively moves down looking for a profession.
