can anyone tell me how to get control of a place in faction

Basically your alliance needs to build up a reputation with one of the factions (Luxon or Kurzick). You do this by gathering faction (either through hunt bonuses, fast faction farming, Fort Aspenwood, or alliance battles). When you get 5,000 faction, find a [Faction Rewards] NPC and raise your alliance's reputation. When your alliance has enough (which is typically a few million) you will get control of a town. One thing to keep in mind though is faction depreciates every day by 10%.

Just click on a town to know how much faction your alliance needs to gain control of it.
