I had the same bug happen to me today while capping Mind Burn... It did 300 damage TWICE to me, luckily I have >600 health and >1800 deaths. But afterwards you got 2 spears, so you totally send Zhu Hanaku crying to his mommy

Maybe I missed something, but why the hell were you in Seabed in the first place? Even under the best of circumstances it's not where I'd choose to send anyone farming Survivor.

Maybe I don't live dangerously enough.

My surviver Rit died from the Vizunah Square bug...after I had finished Vizunah Square without dying I found my Rit suddenly have 1 death instead of 0 deaths...isn't that lame? Well it happenes, after about 3 attempts I gave up, it's just too frustrating to play a surviver....It's something form people with steel nerves (which I don't have!!!) I suppose. I was just a few k's xp away from surviver rank 1 which was my aim in the first place btw

If you really want survivor that much, go buy yourself some scrolls, get a Bonder to bond you and farm Jade Brotherhood in HM, or have a friend farm for you.

No need to go through any dangerous missions, just good old farming..

it took me personally for example over 10 tries, before i made a successful legendary survivor....I died cause of the absolute differencest reasons... but I ever deleted and remaked the char to tmake a next try...

when u have now just no guts to play and try further, then take a BREAK and try later again

Oh GAWDZ of Tyria! WHY?! If it's a SURVIVOR character that you will delete if it dies, you are a complete IDIOT for spending more than 5k on his armor and buying more than 20 skills. All the runes can be salvaged, and it's not like you customized torment daggers. Why the hell did you get all the way to Boreas, anyway? I didn't bother reading the three pages or whatever of this, but here's some simple tips:

Don't spend more than 20k on your character. Don't customize weapons to it. Get to a place in any of the campaigns where you can farm your way to LS. Don't press the x to close out, press F12, or just map to guild hall to avoid a death. End of story. If you don't follow these rules, it's your fault, no matter what bug occurred.

GG for having a title that your broken and bug infested game prevents a player to achieve by playing normally, hence favoring "power levelers". Kinda like how you broke the economy for the casual player yet did nothing to stop farming bots.

They're is too many bugs in the game for A-net to care. I've died while zoning(I waas zoning into an outpost, and something killed me?) before and lost my survivor title.

Its possible to get Tier 3 in a day, as long as you have eotn. I died on my survivor in the dwarven boxing dungeon on tier 1, still happy I have somethign to show.

I suggest ragequitting - it is all the fashion.

Otherwise do one of the following things:

1: if you want the survivor title to mean something to you re-roll the character and go until you get it. This is the hardest way and is probably what was really intended. You will die and you will have to re-roll - it happens and lag/mission mechanics are part of it.

2: Get to either the Dwarven tournament thing where you box or get to where you can wurm farm. From then on out you can grind exp with *no* risk to yourself - it is easy to avoid deaths in the boxing tournament and you can simply flag hench to kill everything in HM with the wurms. This requires no real skill from you and is simply grinding points - a good way to get the title if that is all you are looking for.

its not hard to make a survivor character, it just requires the ability to do something really boring again for no real benefit

-read wiki before starting a mission if you're not 100% of what might happen
-dont pug
-dont buy/customize expensive stuff until max title
-if any lag spike shows up, take a break
-pick a protect/heal skill for cases like that (prot spirit) even if it aint really fit for your character
-pack a run skill for higher lvl areas, that might save you (and rebirth as well)
-clicking the X or alt-F4 doesnt logg off your character instantly
-avoid boss fight you dont need unless you're sure of what you're doing
-check the wiki if you aint sure of what you might encounter, example: roaring ethers (aka antisurvivor)
-forget about Survivor with 56k dialup ^^
-avoid solo farming like 55 build, one mistake/lag and you're finished
-repeatable quests and 2xElite weekends are your friends
-Irontoe Dungeon HM is your friend as well if you keep failing or are in a hurry to get things done

This is generally not the forum for reporting bugs, valid or otherwise.

A support ticket is unlikely you to yield any assistance, the best that can be said has already been said, in terms of helpful advice.

Best of luck if you decide to retry the survivor. I gave up and never looked back, myself.
