Sure, already paid them $40 for GWEN so I could grab NF & Factions at half-off during their holiday promotion (wound up spending $115 for all 4 games, when I grab the BMP later this month that will be $125 for everything, fantastic value imo).

I understand what a promotion is: spend money *now* get this *now*, the end. Too many idiots on this forum who think that promotion and limited edition are synonymous. Often promotional items are limited edition by default since they are never offered elsewhere, but more often than not they are offered elsewhere, often even before the promotion starts. Regardless, if a promotion doesn't say the reward is a one time item, you can safely assume it probably isn't. Not like Anet invented the promotion or how they work so I've yet to figure out all the broken trust type posts.

Maybe it's just that I'm smart enough to not spend money I don't want to?

Play.com save money buy not charging VAT, but also save money by sending things Second Class delivery and you will never get a product from play.com on release day
I don't care about getting it on the release day. What I cared about was that I was getting the "Free Bonus" missions. I also don't care much for the skins, to me it's always been weird why people are paying extra for skins. For me it was to make sure that I was getting the answers to the holes in the story line.

Well I actually don't mind a-net from releasing it to everyone. What I do disagree strongly with was the way they ran the promotion from the first place. They lured people into believing that spending x amount in the game store (funy enough it fitted the price for EOTN) was the ONLY way to get the "free bonus". If they said from the start that, you could by the "free bonus" later I would have saved the money and bought it from a online retailer, and been happy with saving the money and started to play the game the days later.

Who gives a rats ass if they sell the BMP?

I have the BMP because I bought GWEN; it's no skin off my back if other people get to pay extra to get what I got for free. I think the BMP missions are quite fun, so I'm just happy more people will get to do them.
