My considerations about KoaBD title
Abnaxus
I have been playing since 2005, PvE only, more than 3.000 hours logged, have played all classes, enjoyed most parts that the game offers, then I decided that ranger is my favourite class, created a new one, this ranger has 750 hours and 21 titles, and I want to reach r6 KoaBD with it.
Why? For a sense of accomplishment, for the feeling of having been able to beat and complete every aspect of the game.
Currently, there are 26 PvE titles maxable playing the game:
7 Guardian
4 Cartographer
4 Skill Hunter
4 Vanquisher
2 LB/SS
5 EoTN
I have also LS so I can reach 27, those who started before can reach 26.
After that, what is left in PvE? Sweet tooth, drunkard, wisdom, chest hunter, all titles which require a huge amount of farming to buy sweets, alcohol, golds, keys and so on.
I'm not against farming. I have 3 farming characters, monk ele and ritualist, completely equipped and skilled, and I occasionally farmed and farm to get some cash when I want to buy skills or 15k armors, or want to get a green and so on. Or just to try something different from normal gameplay.
But I don't like spending my time repeatedly killing for endless hours specific groups of mobs which have specific weaknesses to some specific skills.
During Wintersday, I farmed gargoyles outside Nolani, and got about 3.500 minutes of alcohol.
While doing this, I felt an idiot.
Come on, my ranger who cleared the most difficult areas and missions in HM is reduced to farm tons of stupid level 8 mobs to get skulls to be traded for alcohol and then click on them for hours?
Or spamming "WTB skulls/tokens/sweets" or whatever in some outpost hoping to find sellers?
And this activity is equivalent to getting Master of the North or a Guardian title?
C'mon that's not serious!
As I said, I have nothing against farming.
Farmers can farm how much they want, and with their gold buy FoW armors, chaos gloves, pandas, elite weapons, whatever they like.
I'm simply not interested in that, I would like a system that allows players who don't want to farm to have the possibility of accomplishing the max rank in KoaBD actually beating every aspect of PvE.
So I think that at least 4 more PvE titles should be added, considering those who don't have LS.
Which ones? Actually I don't know.
I just can imagine something in the line of norn/asura/vanguard/delver style, applied to other dungeons like FoW, UW, Furnace, Deep, DoA and so on.
You may have a blessing and get points for a "Slayer of the Dungeons" title.
Or another idea can be give a title for beating all previously mentioned dungeons both in normal and hard mode, filling a Dungeon book.
I'm not a game designer, the previous ideas just came to my mind considering that those elite areas are already in game.
Anyway, I'd like to be rewarded for beating difficult challenges.
Someone may argue that after Ursan Blessing those area pose no challenge at all, everything is just C+space.
Well, better even this than killing repeatedly the same groups of mobs for endless hours and then repeatedly clicking on some stuff you bought with the gold.
At least, you beat a challenge, completed a part of the game, done something.
I'm able to farm, and i know that I can reach max ranks in remaining titles both farming and investing the money I already have in sweets or alcohol.
I simply consider this activity very stupid and unchallenging, time totally wasted instead of enjoying the best aspects of the game, and absolutely not comparable to the really challenging titles.

need to beat few hard/time consuming titles to have it. it doesnt come free
add 4 more titles to allow you to reach kobd r6? then a bunch of ppl would immediatly ask for kodb r7 and u'll be at the same point

Hmm well, if 4 more titles were added for this.. anet would just add another tier rather than let people sit there with max koabd.
While i support this idea - if you don't want to go through hours of clicking on drinks, don't.
This should also go in sardelac.

I enjoy maxing my drunkard title. I do it while maxing out my other titles with guildies. Everyone in my guild knows that Alice is always drunk, and they encourage me by giving me more alcohol! So I don't view maxing drunkard as a grind, but I realize not everyone has a guild full of people giving them booze.
I think more titles would be exciting! After all, the other dungeons you mentioned place a statue in your HoM so why not give us a little title to go along with the statues?

Hmm, I definitely see your point Abnaxus, but I think the last thing that the ANet developers want is for someone to completely beat the game. If they add new titles, one of them will be another KoaBD title. Honestly though, I think that part of their motivation to adding titles like Drunkard, Connoisseur of Confectioneries, etc. was to create a huge money sink. Even the skill hunter titles are all money sinks (at least enjoyable ones though), with each cap sig costing 1k.
But yes, it is true that this does not show your expertise at Guild Wars, as having "titles" implies a mastery of some aspect of GW, but honestly these only seem like a mastery of farming, which ANet doesn't really support. I mean they know it's necessary, but they'd rather it not be there. Again, I think the point of these titles was simply to be used as a money sink. I definitely would, however, be in support of new titles, especially PvE ones.

if you dont want to put in the hours... dont.

Why are you not satisfied with KoaBD5 if you know that the last three-four titles are nothing but time and money sinks? Why is being a GWAMMo so important to you?
great sir s
still, wasting millions on a title must count for something....

I know this sounds kinda stupid, but wot is LS?
BogusDude
You can already get Legendary Statues for completing all the elite areas such as FoW UW Deep Urgoz DoA. Complete all of the quests in any and visit your HoM to see your statue. Unfortunately they do not currently add to your title list. But to me this makes very little sense, i've never taken anyone into my HoM so no ones ever seen them. I can only anticipate that these statues will at some point also materialise into titles!
Esan
By the way, you can FFF with heroes to max Kurzick allegiance, and then use the money from that to max sweet tooth, maxing both simultaneously. It's a solid two to three months of doing nothing else, of course.
BogusDude
Oh and i wasn't quoting LS there LOL, assume from his list hes referring to legendary survivor
EDIT: FYI these are statues in HoM not currently titles
Conqueror
Eternal Conqueror of Sorrow's Furnace: Obtained by completing the To Sorrow's Furnace quest line. When doing The Final Assault you will gain the quest The Forge Heart. You have to take the reward for The Forge Heart from Ennis Granitestrider near the forge, as well as the reward for The Final Assault from the Dwarven Prospector right outside the outpost after completing the *series* of SF quest's. The trophy is a statue of the Iron Forgeman.
Eternal Conqueror of The Fissure of Woe: Obtained by completing all quests in the Fissure of Woe. The trophy is a statue of Balthazar.
Eternal Conqueror of The Underworld: Obtained by completing all quests in the Underworld. The trophy is a statue of Grenth.
Eternal Conqueror of The Deep: Obtained by completing The Deep elite mission. The trophy is a bronze statue of Kanaxai.
Eternal Conqueror of Urgoz's Warren: Obtained by completing Urgoz's Warren Elite Mission. The trophy is a bronze statue of Urgoz.
Eternal Conqueror of the Domain of Anguish: Obtained by entirely completing the Mallyx the Unyielding quest. The trophy is a statue of Mallyx the Unyielding.

To the OP: where is the money from all of your vanquishes, hard mode missions, dungeons, and title point farms going? I've been trying to max titles too; I only just hit 15 on my ranger, and while doing this I've managed to buy myself 2 sets of ascended armor, and 9 destroyer weps for my hall, among other minor purchases. That's on the order of 700k spent in the past 2 months, and I have yet to do any of the vanquishes or Guardian of Elona. No gold farming in there either. The point is, while playing PvE, you can get a lot of money; if you're a title hunter, that money goes directly back into more titles. In that sense, they are PvE titles, because one of the aspects of PvE is *drumroll* earning money.

I already have enough funds in my storage ready to buy sweets when next event comes, so I see the possibility to get max KoaBD.
And I also agree with those who said that some titles have been introduced only as money sinks for those having thousands of ectos sitting in their storage taking the dust.
The point is: I really regret the idea of buying a title.
My considerations are more related to game design than to the difficulty of achieving buyable titles.
I would prefer that A.net had been less lazy and designed challenging titles which involve skill more than time, instead of something like "use you dusty ectos, buy sweets, and click on them 10.000 times". This seems very poor to me.
Mine were just suggestions: take the model of EoTN titles, apply it to existing elite dungeon, and create a new challenge for those who like to spend time playing the game instead of accumulating gold.
They already have FoW, chaos gloves, pandas and whatever they like. And max buyable titles.
But give other players the possibility to fight for their max KoaBD.
Dev121
I was gunna do this before I relised that it wont make me any better at the game and would be just used to past the hours, if you enjoy grinding your @$$ off in a game then the title is good because you can bore yourself with mindless hours of repeated fights and such. Wait they use different skills and have a different setting but thats about it. Go for a smaller title like r1 KOABD then see how you feel but I urge you to only do what you enjoy, dont go online cool dude and make everyone think your the $h1t when your just patient.
Longasc
I am in the same situation
26 titles
the only titles left are the so-called activity titles - the ultimate grind quest.
(sweets, alcohol, items, t.chests)
or maybe the pvp grind titles: kurzick/luxon.
I really like the ring of GODDESS or GOD among mere mortals!
But I just cannot stand doing this for ages, totally agree with the OP.
But adding 4 more titles is not really a solution. DROP OF FEAR summed it up.
And you actually do not need r6.
1. Statue is maxed at 25 already
2. full monument racks adds to the hall, too
3. you only "proved" to yourself that you wasted over 200 hours each for the 4 last titles, for things you do not like to do.
I personally decided to let my Necro stay at 26 and make my Warrior another legendary guardian at least and max some eotn title tracks. And read some more fantasy or scifi novels. The title hunt in GW is a bit tiresome after a while.
I personally think they should get rid in GW2 of their "activity" titles and other stupid repetitive tasks of that kind. Otherwise we could as well play a normal asia grinder, and actually I do not want to play "Lineage 3 light", now with extra easy and dumb grind....^^

Like Avai up there, I also drink my occasional stock of booze while doing something else. For kicks, I also do it with Post-processing Effects on. Sitting around afking in the guild hall or a random town is severely boring, and something I will never do. Unlike a lot of people who have already posted, I'm starting on my Drunkard and Sweet Tooth with only 14 maxed titles (granted I have 2 more on the way very soon), leaving me plenty of time to work on them off and on without sinking too much money into them. For comparison, I have 171 Drunkard minutes and 95 Sweet Tooth points. I can also say the same of the Wisdom title, it recently hit Rank 2 just from me IDing the weapons I've had dropped for me. Treasure Hunter is slow, I only use keys that drop for me.
Um Yeah

yeah its a pain once you hit 28 max titles and all that is left is pvp, lucky, unlucky and wisdom and treasure.
looking at 2mil - 5mil to complete some of those titles and most casual players would never see that title. Anet then wonders why they have botters and gold sellers when you need to get 10000 chests or 10000 gold indentified.
Let alone I just threw 2mil at drunk and sweet.
They need more things for lucky and unlucky to be able to be done.
Lengendary survivor should be made available to all characters because by the time I found about that title I already had like 5 done plus my main character was proph.
Anyways titles left are pretty boring other then maybe some kurzick ab. FFF = the bore lol
Will I ever reach 30, well I'll let ya know in a year lol because im pretty bored to hell!!!!!!

I personally hate drunkard, wisdom, sweet tooth etc, but that's the nature of getting max KoaBD. I do sometimes wish it was gameplay-only titles that were figured into maxing KoaBD, but I also do get moody and sometimes find it hard to call cartography "gameplay" so it doesnt really matter anyway. Titles are what they are. Have fun with the ones you have fun with so it doesnt make a chore of it. KoaBD is fine the way it is. If you want a max KoaBD title, you have to go into the farming titles.

Kill 10,000 zombies is my goal in HG:L Wasn't really GW related. I'm bored so I'm posting random shit.
Last thing GW needs is more titles. GW needs a complete overhaul, which won't happen.

Why just 4 more?
The same way you felt like an idiot farming gargies - I feel when doing HM. It's completely and utterly broken design and brings nothing new to the table outside of PS spamming.
But then again - it's not like THAT'S new!
Why not just add some 20 more titles? That way everyone can chose what titles they want to max for those 30.
So - why just 4?
