Lag after Wintersday?

has anyone else been having lag and rubberbanding after Winterday or is it just me and some guildeis? Is there just a renewal in players playing?

Yeah I've gotten random bouts of lag. It's just common and random lag pretty much, it changes from person to person.

It has nothing to do with -image. If I've entered the place several times, there shouldn't be lag. The only lag at all should come from entering/leaving places, not while you are in an explorable area.

I've been getting some laggy periods which is unusal for me as my ping is normally a healthy green colour.
I asked the alliance and some agreed, other didn't. I don't know where the problem stems from.

Yeah I've been lagging, I did -image and stuff, my dot never turns red, some lag spikes reduce it to a yellow, but yeah.. the lag is very odd indeed.

A lot of lag and rubberbanding - and I usually experience almost none.
And the connection dot hardly drops below green.

i've been noticing lag in about all town which was awkward cuz it nvr happened before, also lags in explorable areas for about a min or 2 then its fine

The lag for me has been exceptionally bad this past week. I've never before had this kind of problem when playing GW, but this past week it's been almost impossible to have a good, solid gaming session.
Sadly this was also the week when an Alliance mate of mine decided to reroll his main character so he needed a lot of help.

Mmm-hmm, I've had random rubberbanding and lagspikes here and there. Nothing over 1k ping, but still not a lot of fun in the middle of a fight.

lag and my heroes dont seem to walk with me any more they just jump to my next place....have rubberbanded so many times I think I have stretched out the rubberband!

It's especially bizarre for me because up until this started three days ago, I have never in my 2 1/2 years playing Guild Wars experienced major lag in this game before, EVER.
It'll be fine for about a half hour, then all of a sudden it'll start these little lag pauses once ever couple of minutes for the next half hour. Rinse and repeat.

For several days after Wintersday, I was getting higher than normal pings - the green dot was almost constantly yellow, occassionally dipping into green. Funny thing is, I didn't experience any lag along with it, other than rubberbanding a couple of times going around corners. Gameplay seemed normal otherwise. Pings are back to normal now, though.

I have been getting lots of boomerang lag, unusual pings, and sometimes slow loading. Mainly in EoTn areas and AB.

Average Ping: 55,627ms is lots of fun. maybe i will try it again after i get passed the Average Ping: 5,175ms

there is no reason for pings that crazy. we aren't trying to send messages into outer space, especially from a desktop.

I was in Foundry in DoA today and for 15 minutes I had an average ping of 5k+. I guess the consumables helped a little eh? Celerity cut through the lag at 25%? Heh
