Hellow!

I have Prophecies / Factions / Nightfall.
I like the idea of an assassin, but I would like to start playing in Nightfall.
As I understand you need to get to a certain point in Factions to move over to Nightfall.

Could someone explain to me how to do that and what the fastest way is?

Start an assa in factions, keep doing the primary quests,the first 2 missions and also do the 2 attribute points quest, when you get into kaineng speak with Imperial Guardsman Linro and get the quest Sunspears in Cantha from him, after completing it, you'r in Elona

I was under the impression that you had to become ascended (or closer to the stars in this case) in order to travel between continents.

No, you just need to get to the main port town of each campaign (in Nightfall there's a restriction for this, yes, but it's almost the same).

I think this used to be a restriction, but can confirm it is not one onw.

ERm...I also wanna travel to nightfall from factions...but There is no such NPC at the docks...the only 2 actual npc's (not counting the farmer npcs) are the headmaster and that first mate....

And there isnt any other Kaineng place on my map =(
So where the hell is he? >.<

You need to be "ascended/closer to the stars" in Cantha in order to change your secondary profession. If you are happy with your secondary and dont want to change, you can go over once you get that nightfall quest.

I assume your at kaineng docks, Kaineng is actually the name of the WHOLE (and pretty dam big) city

Go from the marketplace into bukdek byway, and follow the ocean on the left untill you reach kaineng center - Its the main city of Factions, everything you want is there
