We already have Skill Templates and Equipment Templates why not add Keyboard Layout Templates and Interface Templates?
The game allows one to change the interface and keyboard layouts pretty freely but there is no way to save that interface. I believe that certain situations call for different layouts such as different character classes/playstyles or PvE/PvP. I know one can always revert to default but what if I want the custom one back sometime in the future? Currently I have to take a screenshot of the interface and adjust again everytime and I have spent quite alot of time on interfaces. Plus sometimes I let my girlfriend play on my account and she has different interface/key ideas from mine and I want an easier way to switch.
I only wish there were customizable templates to address these shortcomings.

I like the layout I have now, but I do like to change it up sometimes, and certain playstyles (like monking/focusing on party vs. damage/focusing on foes) call for different layouts, at least for me.

I agree with this wholeheartedly, especially with the new depth of interactivity this would add. A cookie-cutter build may not be as uniform if people find a very efficient way of setting it up!

you can set up your interface however you want. this won't really change the way the game is played at all, except it will take less time to change your interface

I think that having a template for keys would be very helpful and would save me and others alot of time switching keyboard layouts key by key. I also think that having something like a skill bar assigned to say... the Q/A/Z/W/S/X/E/D, would make a giagantic difference in gameplay. OR, if you are using a build that spams a skill or multiple skills you could set them on keys that would be more convenient for you.
Last but not least I would like to comment on the lack of functionality in most games of the extra buttons included on highend mouses, I recently got a Razer and I would like to see something done with those, most likely player controlled because not everyone has access to this hardware ^^
