Guild Naming

Hi i have a quick question concerning guild naming.

If I create a guild, then disband that guild, can I create another guild with the same name?

I don't know the answer to your question but it raises a question in my mind ........... Why?

My guess would be that, once you "release" the name by disbanding the Guild, it would be free for anyone (not only yourself) to use. Same goes for character names.

currently my main account is in a very active PvE guild that is about to divide and create their own alliance, as a officer in that guild, it does not send the right message to members when an officer leaves. So I am taking my secondary account and want to try to check guild names to see if the ones i want are taken. I have one particular guild name in mind, and want to check if it is availabe, but i want to be able to create it with my main character, who will be the leader of it.

Its kinda stupid, but i would rather have just my name as guild leader, than Chief Odoacer (designated guild leader by -------)

There may be a time delay from the time the guild is disbanded until the name can be used again, as with character names.
