HoM Question

In order for our GW2 characters to unlock one of our HoM will they have to have the same name as the character's HoM they are trying to unlock?

Or will it just be any character linked to our GW1 account?

Nobody knows for sure yet, but I would imagine it's any character on the linked account.

I'm guessing character...but i have no clue.

As far as I know, HoM are connected through name, if Anet changed or will change that I don't know, I just know that was at least a plan for GW2.

My understanding is they are planning to give you the option to reserve your current names, but it won't be necessary to tie your hall to the GW2 character with the same name.

I also understand it to be a one-to-one inheritance. That is, a GW2 character can inherit from a single GW1 toon. Likewise, a GW1 toon can bequeath to only one GW2 character.

This is not known with absolute certainty, however.
