Glyph of Energy + Obsidian Flame..Worth it?

okay, so I was playing geomancer a few days ago and felt that a elee wouldn't reli be an elee if my build didn't have some real damage spells. I run will wards and stone daggers(not reli used for dmg just for finishing targets and stuff)...Is it worth it to do glyph of energy and obsidian flame together? It does eliminate the exhaustion and at my level of earth magics it does 118 dmg. I have used it before but was not impressed with the exhaustion and found this glyph. Please state your opinion on if it is a good damage combo or should i do something else. Thank you every much in advance.

hell no. use sand storm, or unsteady ground.

I don't really think it's worth it. Obsidian flame, in my opinion, should be used for finishing off targets, since it's a pretty heavy hit and you wouldn't want to spam it unless it meant killing a vital part of the enemy's team

Of course, i don't play elementalist, so someone else likely has better advice.

of course its free but the recast of glyph of energy makes the combo pretty slow. id just use another spell and bring an inspiration magic spell to handle energy.

Obsidian Flame sucks....wasting your elite slot for it is even worse.

I've never really used obisidian flame much in PVE other than for specific occasions where I needed to quickly spike a damaged enemy.

used to be nice almost 3 years ago
however since then we got earth elites and they are better

if its your only skill that cause exhaustion obsid flame is good i always take it on my earth build its quick and hits hard.

But i agree with the above i wouldnt use my elite for Glyph of energy. Unless i was running another exhaustion skill say Dragon stomp, with only a 10 second down time (and 15sec CD on earthquake) it gives descent E-management with Earth attunment. But when running exhaustion skills timing and discretion is always key.
