Hello Everyone and Welcome to a New competition style that I hope everyone will enjoy.

Competition Background Info.
There have been lots of competitions with capturing screen shots and so many more on modeling characters. I want to bring a competition that is going to require some real skill and a good eye to win. This competition will reward those who bring out the essence of the game, the entries will turn into more than just screen shots and should be looked upon as real meaningful photographs.

Rules and Regulations:
There are no real boundries on this competition topic. Simply find for me a real moment that you feel is more than just a "screen shot for fun". Think of it as you would if you were in a real photography contest. You want to take a real picture, a photograph that could be of anything in the game. The photograph must be natural, i.e. could not be staged with help from friends or guild mates. You don't even have to take a picture of someone you know. I prefer these pictures don't even include you, use first person mode to get awesome angles and shots. This all makes it like a real competition.

ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOSHOPPING OR ALTERING OF THE PHOTOS UNLESS CROPPING IS REQUIRED THAT IS THE ONLY EXCEPTION

There can only be one entry per person and you cannot change your entry once it is entered.

YOU'RE ON YOUR HONOR
Meaning I can't determine whether or not these photos are staged or not so I trust that the entries will qualify for the standards of the competition.

Take into consideration these photos will be judged like a real photo contest and angles, lighting, and positions will be taken into consideration in the judging of the preliminary rounds.

The first round will total a unknown amount of finalists depending on how good the photos are and how many people enter. (I urge anyone and everyone to enter) After those finalists are chosen they will be judged by their peers (the people on these forums). And the final winner will be decided.

The Reward will be soon announced and should total to up to 100k+ amount of items and or cash.

The Contest will end after the 26th which means at 12:01am Jan 27th will be the end of the contest.

This seems fun ^^, but you should put in the rules that other than cropping we can't use photoshop or similar things to modify the picture.

I'm gonna use this opportunity to post some of my favorite screenie moments from the past year. I love screenshotting my characters so they are most likely always included but these are all pictures taken for my own pleasure when I felt like it.

I also took a shot when I was dead :S I thought the scenery was so beautiful and I liked how GW tweaks the saturation to be more flat when you are dead. I am at the bottom middle hidden in patches of grass and you see maybe 2 white dots of my armor sparkling - very hard to see...nevertheless, I was glad my posted henchies aggroed the patrolling windriders or else I wouldn't have got this wonderful capture of how GW uses great lighting...this pic feels like an old landscape oil painting to me
