Generating intrest in Hard Mode!
1) Please give low level green items a Hard Mode counterpart that is Max. Probably not that important but it would be a little less discouraging when you get one. Perhaps named Lesser and Greater to inhibit scam attempts. Good idea Askani
2) Also, How about adding an Vanquish chest for areas of over 100 or 200 creatures? Maybe spawn a boss after vanquish that will trigger the chest when he dies??
A vanquish chest would have been nice for Snake Dance and/or Lonars Pass. ! /rant
3) Add greens to Proph bosses in HM <OK! NO GREENS!! lol! but Increase chances of bosses dropping lockpicks and/or scrolls and tomes (again HM only)! at least!
4) STOP setting me back to Normal Mode after I visit my Guild Hall. please!
5) Have ability to merch items on maps. Since I highly doubt they'd add NPCs to the game, how about an update that allows us to sell drops to Collectors and Material crafters, since nearly every map has at least one. Good Idea mike. I just had this problem.

Some are nice. At the #2, I'd suggest the higher the foes the bigger the reward is in the chest. But idd after vanquishing there should spawn a chest.

I agree with you on all points, except I am a bit skeptical about adding greens.
We really don't need the price of greens to go down anymore by making replica modded greens an easy farm.

1) You would have to add a whole set of greens with different names or you risk scamming. Prob not worth it.
2) You already get a reward based on the number you vanquish, I see no reason to add another reward, except maybe improving the gold reward a bit.

4) It may be that since the guild hall is on the PvP Island (Cant remember the name atm) it doesn't have a HM. I haven't paid much attention but I don't think there is a HM toggle there, in which case when you go back to a PvE outpost you are defaulted to NM. This may not be changeable.

There's another thread around here somewhere that suggested adding Vanquishing chests to areas. The thread dissolved into a ruckus about whether:
A. The chest should be 1 time only or everytime you vanquish
B. What about easy or glitched areas with only 1 or 2 enemies to kill?
I still think it's a good idea. Add a vanquishing chest to every area and scale the rewards in the chest according to how many monsters were killed:
Vanquished 1-10 enemies: Chest drops 1g to 5g
Vanquished 11-50 enemies: Chest drops 20g to 100g or a bad purple.
Vanquished 50-100 enemies: Chest drops a common gold
Vanquished 100-200 enemies: Chest drops a random gold or nice rare material.
Vanquished 200+: Chest is similiar to HoH chest. Can drop any max gold related to the campaign vanquished or a small chance for a rare mini.

Still wouldn't convince me that it would be a market breaking mechanic. The market is broken as it is anyway. Its far too easy to get a green that you need or buy it cheap. max9 golds are everywhere and are often merched as people can't stand waiting around for hours trying to get buyers that will only pay 1 or 2k for them. BMP made is easy as button mashing to get max9 stuff. Even the upgrade componants are cheap. 1.5k for 15^50 inscriptions!?

Which is easier, killing 200+ PvE monsters, or winning the Hall of Heroes? Count the amount of people that have killed 200+ HM Monsters, then count the number of people that have won Halls. It would be abused by the fact you're getting the same reward for something that is far easier than actually earning it.

A free chest for vanquishing HM would be ok with me. Should just be a treasure chest that doesn't require a lockpick, same drops.
I've won HoH's and 1.) it's much more difficult than taking some heros and spending 90 minutes killing stuff. 2.) the drops out of the HoH's chest is waaay too good for this kind of reward. Multiple Stygian Reavers, celestial sigils, zaishen keys, minis.
