pls help me maby you know how

i have been playing GW factions and then i stopped fbut i guess for bit to long and now i have like 13.000 files to download when i go into a city

maby one of you know a faster way or do i just have to download them all?

Highlight your Guild Wars icon on the desktop and press Ctrl C, then press Ctrl V. A second shortcut appears. Right click and go to Properties. In the Path you have the default path to Guild Wars. After the end quote put -image. You'l end up with something like this:

If you right click on your GW shortcut, go to Properties and edit the command line which should look something like this:

"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe"

Change it to:

"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image

Note the space between exe and -image.

This will download absolutely everything available so you'll no longer have files to download when entering towns. Once everything has finished downloading, remove the -image part of the command and start Guild Wars again.

It takes forever though, so do it overnight or something.

Once you have a complete working game make a backup copy onto a dvd of the GW folder. It won't stop you needing updates but it sure helps if you need a reinstall from scratch.
