GW:EN Points Totals?

A guildmate and I have been vanquishing parts of GW:EN, however we have both found that the individual title tracks (Norn etc) kills end up higher than the vanquishing kills total for the zone.

Is this a glitch?

I would have thought they should be the same or Vanquishing would end up higher

No HM usually gives you more points per kill, not to mention that every 25 kills grants you a bonus.

If any baddie dies while your in an area in HM the Vanquish progress bar will be affected weather you made the kill or not.

ie:

Jotunes & Stone Wolves dont get along, they fight, Jotunes wipe out a group of wolves, your vanquishing marker will rise the amount of baddies that died in that fight between jotuns & Wolves.

I actually named this wrong - but the actual kill totals that pop up are what I was referring to.

If I killed 400 critters towards the title then I should have 400 or more vanquished in the area but I would have 425 towards the Norn title (just example) and 400 vanquish kills in the area.

That would make the vanquishing kill total higher which I would understand but I am finding it the other way around

Possible encounters with rezed enemies, or the bugs that reanimate?
