So I have created a bad ass warrior and got level 5 today, you will be able to get your secondary proffesion at this time (nightfall).
I had this idea of creating a dagger warrior, but I wasnt able to chose assassin as my secondary proffesion..
How can I do this?

Sorry for the newbie questions lately, but just got the expansions 2 weeks ago, so still learning here

You can only get assassin as a secondary after you reach the sanctuary and complete Hunted. Otherwise you would need to create a war in Factions to get assassin secondary right off the bat.

You have to have Factions and then take your guy to Kamadan, it will tell you who to talk to to go to Cantha. Do this quest to reach Kaineng City, from there you need to do the Primary Quest and Missions to reach Senji's corner where you can change your secondary proffesion. For now you are just going to have to pick one then change it later.

If your new, I suggest going with something more simple at first, until you grasp the basics and moderately advanced mechanics in the game. Then go make a W/A.

You can't really go wrong with a wammo in PvE (W/Mo).

Actually, after beating Hunted, instead of getting to Seniji's corner, you can just go to the great temple of balthazar and pay 500 gold to the profession switcher there.

If your character was created in factions, don't you have to get "closer to the stars" before you can change your secondary profession? That's the equivalent of ascension for factions characters, and the NF version is the "hunted" quest...

Also, why would you want to use daggers as a warrior? You won't have critical strikes or the ability to raise your dagger skill above 12, which is what really makes an assassin excel in that case...
