Why do people say paragon's are great in combo with physical attackers and not so much with casters.

I find that casters are the ones who most benefit of the armour buffs. Yes physicals get the same buffs, but they need it less. And warriors end up being outside your shout range more than casters.
Most paragon's don't use that many anthems. Othen they have but one skill that benefit's physical attackers more than casters : namely go for the eyes.
I have not seen many PvE paragon's who use other anthems except for anthem of flame ...

What skills of a paragon do people use that benefit physicals more than casters ?

While I know searing flames is in favor lattelly, 2 SF ele's combined with their on fire at least has the benefit of symbiosis.

It's pretty hard to form a reply when most of your generalisations are wrong. 'People' will say all kinds of crazy stuff, I honestly can't tell you why other than because they aren't very good at the game. Paragons have always been a class that supports the rest of the party. It doesn't specifically support on class style moreso than the other, although Paragon's do compliment physical attackers quite well.

I'm not sure what to make of this. You use Anthems that compliment both you and your party. I'd imagine most Paragon's you would find in PUG's would be running some form of Anthem considering how straight forward they are to use effectively.

Considering your shout range is larger than your spear range, I find this cicumstance rather unlikely unless you have some leeroying moron.

"Symbiosis"

I think he prolly meant "synergy"

SF + The're on Fire have an excellent synergy, and he has got a point

Casters just gain extra armor, health or energy from Paragon shouts and chants. Paragons do so much more for physicals such as causing extra damage with Anthem of Envy, causing conditions with Anthem of Flame / Weakness and "Find Their Weakness!", auto-interrupting with Anthem of Disruption. Then you have Zealous Anthem for physicals who use energy, and Anthem of Fury for those who use Adrenaline. Not to mention that physicals gain benefits from all the same health / energy gaining chants that casters do with the exception of "Aria"s, such as Ballad of Restoration for example. Seriously, they just do SO much more for physicals. It's not all about defensive buffs for physicals, it's also about how a Paragon can augment the team in terms of damage and functionality.

Paragorns are awsome supporting both physicals and casters...

Indeed, now-a-days paragons just run "Save Yourselves!" with Focused Anger... no reason to run anything else.

Like already said paragons provide somewhat equal defensive support for both but they augment a physical attacker's damage in many ways while they dont directly augment any caster damage. So you could say physicals benefit in more ways from a paragon. Squishies benefit more from the +100 armor then physicals though so in the end it doesn't really matter, paragon is great support for both.
