All my heroes were max lvl by the end of nightfall despite my not using half of them. norgu and goren were max already? mine were given to me at lvl 18 after i completed NF i lose

Or normal mode in the wurms, I think the xp gain caps at 5 levels difference, so bringing a lvl 18 hero against lvl 23 is as good as against lvl 28.

Skill capping might work nice as well, capping an elite gives 5000 XP. Capping skills doesn't give XP to heroes, unless I missed something epic
