Are you working on your Hall of Monuments? If so, what are your goals?

No, because it's a shit idea that was implemented with entirely no thought at all. It's nothing more than a cynical ploy to keep the masses quiet whilst they think up new ways to screw up GW2. Anyway, are they going to give us some extra storage space to keep all these shiny goodies in once we have them to display for various characters? No, they're not!

I'm just maxing titles, getting whatever armor I like, and getting the rare pets (not mini pets, screw those). The HoM was a good idea in theory, but horribly implemented. I'm getting the titles for my own person satisfaction, not for the HoM. Same with the armor, I got FoW because I think it looks best on my monk, not so I could display it on an armor stand.

But anyway...
I want the Destroyer items, 20 maxed titles, hero/pet statues (mainly so I can have a good variety of heroes, not actually for the statues), and all the monk armors (change my looks every once in a while ). I guess there's not really much left to do in GW except for "decorating" your HoM, which honestly I hardly ever go to anyway...

I've recently been trying to get all the Hero armour. Only have Norgu and Morghan to go, but those portal wraiths very rarely drop anything..

My goal for the Hall of Monuments is to get the Rainbow Phoenix to spawn in there

I found that too, and I'm so tired of looking at Olias's shiny butt cheeks all the time in that Krytan armour.

Goals....Dunno really, I'd like to reach R4 of KoaBD as it makes me laugh, but I really don't care that much. Stuffing the armour in is nice, but I've had to start putting mules on my hubby's account to stash it all.

As for buying a full range of destroyer weapons, of which a large portion are completely useless for my ele.. erm no, I'm not rich enough to waste money on that.

Well, I was working on my ranger's monument. I had 13 max titles, 8 elite armour sets, 6 hero statues, the phoenix and moa bird statue, and the generic pet statue, and 13 minipets or so. But I've gotten sick of my ranger, since I can't think of a new and exciting build to play while vanquishing, so I've paused that one for a while. May go back to it later.

I've started a necro doing LDoA. My goals for her would be to get all elite armour sets, as many minipets as I can (at least 20), all hero and pet statues, all destroyer weapons, and as many title and achievement statues as I can (at least 30 title statues and those for the elite areas, but I wouldn't mind getting some of the others. Not sure if I'll ever be bothered though).

I've also got a rit and dervish that I wouldn't mind working on HoM, but I don't know if I can be bothered doing that either. My original plan was to have enough characters with decently filled HoM to create a character of each race in GW2, but I have come to realise the flaws in that logic.

1) I don't know whether I will have enough time to play more than one character in GW2, given the increased level cap and everything, as well as having graduated from uni by then.
2) It'll take a very long time to fill up 5 HoM (this one isn't so big a deal. I have another 6 weeks holiday from uni left, all my friends have full time jobs, so there isn't that much else I could be doing. I foresee that the same will be for the 4 week holiday in the middle of this year and next, and the next 3 month holiday at the end of this year. Yeah, I do need to get out more).
3) I don't know if I can really be bothered.

Meh, I'm sorta working towards titles with my derv, but I just don't have the resources/time/skill to max everything. I don't get any joy out of grinding titles, I don't like the looks of a lot of the game's elite armor, and I don't care to spend thousands on keys/sweets/booze.

Also, I don't really want to dedicate my minis.

I'll just keep playing the way I have been. If money and titles come my way, great.

Had a full hall minus the destroyer weapons when the HoM so my current 1 destroyer weapon doesn't really signify much progress :P. I figure that I'll keep working on the last 5 titles for God Waking and by the time I've finished them I'll have enough onyxs and diamonds in storage from dungeon chests that I won't need to buy anymore.

as many titles as I can farm (looking for at leaste 20)

max all the EoTN allegiance titles --> use money made thru handbooks for skill hunter titles -->cap rainbow phoenix --> R4 Kurz -->go back in time and get Legendary Survivor --> mini djinn and kuunavang

the only thing that is keeping me from working on the HoM is because i dont know if i will have to name my gw2 char the same as my gw1 in order to use it. i use profession specific names so that wouldnt work for my future character.

Just the min for me, not sure if there is any point. If in the future there is a point I can always go back and put more effort in.

10-20 titles (only 7 right now not in any rush)

all war destroyer weapons, got 2 so far.

I too thought it would be a main goal of mine at first, but no longer. I dont believe the "rewards" in GW2 for filling the HoM in certain areas will justify the actual time required. I'm fine entering GW2 without the inheritances that HoM bonuses might yield. I've really simply now gone for the titles that I had fun going for, and let it be only that.

Various things I have gone for and/or entered: FoW set and 15k sets for my monk (she collects armors anyway), Protectors and Guardians (I loved completing all those, and some various campaign completion statues come with that), MotN, Skill Hunters. There's other things in there as well, but those are the ones I liked a lot.

I have:
1 Destroyer Weapon: Destroyer scythe...only one I planned getting for the HoM
I have all hero/pets except Black Widow....maybe I will get it..someday
I have about 15 mini's I have collected..but I am not going out of my way to get more.
I have 4 sets of armor..maybe 1 more at the most is what I will work for.
Titles...going to try for R2 KOABD..but I can't see going for more after that.

I am using the HoM as my own personal motivational goal at this time. If I succeed..YAY!...If I don't, no biggie. I have enough in their to be happy with for GW2. Once I know what goes in the HoM will equal in GW2, then I might change my plans, other than that once I reach my goal..it will start to gather dust for my ancestors to clean up.
