PvP Needs A HM Mode!
Toxage
I am suggesting for an addition to the PvP aspect of the game. PvP is stall, boring, and too easy in its current form. Something is wrong when I go in HA with a team with no runes, no insignias, no weapon mods, and only 4 skills each and hold for hours. Something is wrong when I can do the same in GvG and get ranked in the 50s-100s.I know of numerous high ranking PvPers such as myself, that are looking for a challenge. PvP Hardmode needs to be introduced. HM in PvP? Yes, HM for PvP could increase damage taken, reduce damage done, reduce armor, reduce the number of skills (4 maybe?), increase skill re-charge.

Like how? Importing better players from other games?

eh... just do it without any armour or skills. Or maybe take some time to teach people how to play so they give you a better challenge.
HM PvP? that really doesn't make sense since the difficulty is all dependent on other humans.

Your concept makes little to no sense imho

Yes, it is dependent on humans but you could stack the favor towards one side. Example - PvP Easy Mode - Stays the same as things currently are. PvP Hard Mode already listed.

HM - Reduces Health/Energy, Increases Recharge Time, Lowers Armor, No Runes Allowed, No Insignias Allowed
Easy Mode - Everything stays the same.
What doesn't make sense?

Hm... and how do you plan to do it?
Increase level, armor, action speeds for NPCs?
Allow only players with full equipment (forbid entrance to players with non-perfect armor, weapons or with empty upgrade slots)?

Oh... that would NOT be a Hard Mode effect.
It would be a 'You are as good as your internet connectio is, get a seccond of lag and you are out' effect.
Currently the game is quite fast, considering the average Internet connection in most countries.

Obviously playing on a crappy internet connection will make you lose no matter what we are discussing so that is not really an issue.

So, you will make everything prone to spikes?
More of a "3...2...1" race to me....

Interupts?
Conditions? Blind? Daze? Cripple?
Prot Spirit?
Spirit Bond?
Infuse?
It's also called HM for a reason... It is meant to be a challenge not c+space.

B: read A
C: enchant removal right before spike, and usually DW delivers the killing blow.
D: spikes are usually put to recharge as soon as, and your forgetting AoE spikes, not to mention people are vunerable to the spike anyway so one single slip up messes up the preprot
E: just makes the infuser vunerable

Spike teams aren't c-space, your thinking of Zergway minus the spamminess.

This does... nothing. If you play in "HM PvP" or whatever so will everybody else. It won't make the game harder or better. It will just shift everything laterally. If EVERYBODY has the same debuffs/buffs done to them, then its no different then the norm.

You guys fell for it. OP is clearly a troll. Hold for hours? Get in top 50 GvG? Pics or get ready for a ban.

No matter how you alter the gameplay, lower health, lower energy, increase damage and whatever, it will still depend on the skill of the players. A sucky player will still suck in HM PvP, and the "elites" will still have no challenge. All the sucky players will just shift over to HM, because no one will be left in NM, and you will be stuck in the same position.

I'm assuming this is a joke... :P
"Increase damage taken, reduce damage done" would equate to the damage taken/done currently... er, I mean, in "easy mode".
