Hero's Handbook Hiccup

Hi all, hope somebody can help me, I finished GWEN with one of my Characters.

I got a new hero's Handbook and started doing all the missions again to boost my Reputation points, filled all the pages except the last 2, Destructions Depth and a time for Heroes, Ran to Battle depths to talk to Jalis Iron Hammer to start doing Destructions Depth, but he doesn't have the green mission Icon above his head and wont give me the mission. I joined a friends party, ran again, for my friend he has the mission icon, for me still nothing, my friend started the mission and I got a error message that I am doing the mission out of order and wont recieve bonuses and rewards for doing the mission and my progress wont be saved. Finished the mission, no entry in my hero's Handbook.

According to the Wiki, you need Heart of the Shiverpeaks to do Destructions Depth, I have in my Inventory a Dungeon Guide with Heart of the Shiverpeaks page filled in. If I go to the scrying pool, it gives me all the missions except the last 2, but if I look at past events, it shows me all the cut scenes, including Ogden's Benediction, which is the cutscene when you killed the great destroyer.

Have somebody had the same problem or do someone know off a solution please.

It's most likely that you did Heart of Shiverpeaks out of order or without taking the quest associated with Heart of Shiverpeaks from Jalis Ironhammer. To activate that quest, you have to talk to the scrying pool in the Hall of Monuments and watch the final vision. You can have HoS updated in your dungeon book by completing it, but that doesn't mean you completed the actual HoS step in Against the quest The Destroyers which leads to Destruction's Depths. If you really beat Eye of the North on that character, talking to the scrying pool grants you the Destruction's Depths quest too. You can always go back to Jalis quickly from Central Transfer Chamber through the Asura gate.

Thanks for that link Sinbad, unfortunately it seems the problem has not been fixed yet and doesn't seem as if Anet is in a hurry fixing it.
