I was looking at the mesmers one day, and I realized that these had all of the makings for awesome heroes!
So I quickly slapped together some builds.. I never really used a mesmer outside of an ineptitude mesmer a long time ago in GvG, but I figured, what the hay.

Ether feast is optional, and today Restore life was buffed to a 4 second cast, so with 10 fast cast.. I figured why not?

The only problem with this fool, is sometimes you have to manually turn on the wards.
I tried this tonight.. I literally steam rolled through Tahnakkai Temple NM mission, and killed at an all human team rate through Yatendi Canyons HM.
I would like suggestions... testers.. whatever, I just want to use mesmers more often as heroes.

why would you want to use mesmers instead of N/Me's. what advantage are you getting from mesmer primary. heroes spamming skills faster without crazy energy managment isnt exactly a good thing.

Because the 3 necro hero team everyone is wetting themselves over doesn't really work for me.
And they're constantly interupting, getting themselves energy. I never really saw them without it.

Im against Mesmers. there is no reason at all to have fast casting. waste of an attribute when you could have soul reaping or energy storage.

no, id rather take 1 second casts and be able to spam forever than 3/4 second casts and run out of energy.

- Energy is energy in any amount. Since the mesmer isn't using, then get rid of it and give it to the casters. Granted Norgu or Gwen dont do lots of damage with that build but it's the shutdowns/interrupt/utility i was after. It works nicely with two necro's (or casters for that matter). Then you have everything that you could ever dream off, hexes, MM and interrupts plus more energy to use. Even eve can nuke instead of just spam BR. Plus the monks can do quite alot with that quick boost. Longer fights only make it better because of the rather long recharge.
If you have to fight somewhere where mass conditions are a problem, ie burning, poison all that stuff spread on everyone. Replace "The power is Yours!" & Hex Eater Signet with [wiki]Cautery Signet[/wiki] & [wiki]remedy signet[/wiki] for a rather great team support (then you can raise Domination to max with the points from Motivation if you'd like for that situation).
Melee is apparent problem without hexes but thats why you have those two necros .
