I honestly didn't know if this should go under basic guild wars questions or Riverside Inn. I thought this one sounded like it was a better choice hence y it is here. Ok sorry about that here is the question. I have seen a recent boost in ppl giving out porn sites in local chat. Now I let the first 8-9 slide today. However I saw this one and it freaked me out....the name did. I want to report them because of the local spam from 50 ppl going eww, gross, grow up, leave now, and blah blah. I honestly don't care that they are putting the sites in local except for the fact it spams up my chat window. Now where should i report them though spamming or verbal abuse. I was thinking verbal but with the whole warning your account will be banned if u abuse this. Please don't just say y do u care go to the site! or just turn off local or reporting is for lamers. Because if thats your response I don't care to know your opnion. Thanks you in advance for REAL answers that ANSWER my question
Reporting...Is this Verbal abuse?

Spamming, although it doesn't matter much. The report will cause Anet to review what the person was doing. Even if you report leeching, and the person had an inappropriate character name, they can still be actioned. Correct reporting makes things a little easier, but the report does not require exact info. For example, you can report someone for using local chat for trading, even if they are not spamming. You do this by marking it as spam, and they get looked at. So use whatever you feel fits best, just don't report stuff just because you think its fun.

Hmmm.... that's a tough call. I'd think either "spamming" or "verbal abuse" would do the trick. It may be better to report them for spamming, tho, because A-Net knows that people report gold sellers / account buyers are being reported as spammers, so they may be paying more attention to the spam reports.
