Faction decreasment?

i just have a quick question, I just made a small guild of friends and we have been playing through Factions and got to the point where our guild allied with the Kurzics. Now we havent played for a week in Factions and our kurz faction has dropped from 5000 points down to 1400 points. Is this normal or is something wrong or have we forgot to do something? We are planning on getting more faction later, but want to get a few toons through nightfall first. I guess my main question is does faction constantly decrease or is there something we need to do to get it not to go down

Faction donated to your guild has a 10% depreciation per day. The only way to counteract this decline is to donate at least 10% of your current guild faction each day.

The faction on your characters will not suffer the same depreciation. That faction only decreases if you spend it or donate faction to their mortal enemies.

You can only do it in blocks of 5k faction. Talk to any [Faction Rewards] NPC. There's one in your guild hall as well as any place you can earn Luxon/Kurzick faction. You'll have an option to improve your alliance's standing with your faction. Click on that one and "sign" your name (aka, type it in).

Every 5k (lux or kurz, depending on your alliance) you earn, you can talk to an npc in your guild hall and donate it to your guild. These npcs are also in uh... Cavalon and House zu Heltzer if I remember right, been a while since I've played in Factions.

The Alliance Faction decays by 10% every 24 hours at midnight GMT if the Alliance is in control of one of the outposts or close to controlling one. It will never decay beyond 1.


So it decays because it would be silly to have leading alliances with growing ten billion lead to second place alliance.

In your guild hall there is an Kurzick Bureaucrat or Luxon Scavenger. Talking to this NPC will allow you to donate faction in 5k increments.
